<sigh> If only the US had the brains to fix up the KMS Prinz Eugen and return her to Germany, she would have been a great addition to this, she fought beside Bismarck in the Battle of the Denmark Straight, drew first blood on HMS Hood & scored hits on HMS Prince of Wales, provided artillery fire to the German Arm retreat,

If there was ever one warship of the German Navy that should have been preserved as museum & training ship it was the KMS Prinz Eugen, name one other ship with lines and overall design more beautiful then this one, it will win a beauty contest against the Iowa's and North Carolina class any day of eon,

Es ist eine Schande, dass bei den deutschen Schiffen die Beflaggung fehlt. Diese sind historische Bestandteile der Optik der Kriegsschiffe und gehören zu einem historischen Modell dazu.

Check Kagero publishing,they have nice 3D drawings magazines.They have 3D drawings for “Eugen” also.

I was lucky enough to see prinz eugen @ KWA; and have some placards off this ship obtained from dive master chief pilot there...

impressive models , great attention to detail , greenwich maritime museum in london has some equally impressive models , a huge model of the king george v is very impressive .

Gabriel M. I think they did that in purpose in order to give higher altitude perspective for the plane.

Travelmotivated 13 yeah that’s a good point. was thinking that they just had trouble finding one in scale. Because the plane on the Bismarck is in scale and it kinda took me out of it. Otherwise amazing models tho

Love the water effect. That Swordfish at 00:07 is just gonna drop the torpedo on the deck of the Bismark. Absolute madlad.

I took 20 hits to its hull armor, and not one dent in it, it only got lucky on hitting the rudder, by end of that battle Ark Royal lost over half of her fighters,
