@@idkhowtofish There is a wier there that stops the majority fresh water from free flowing into the salt. In the middle of the wall there is a "fish ladder" fish can move either into the fresh or the salt through there.

I’ve got that exact same setup except my Zodias is 5-10lb because I use it for throwing heavier soft plastics and lures around.

What an exciting video...numerous species, including some real quality fish, especially the Bream of 43cms. What weight of jighead did you need for the current and depth of the water?

In 2-3 meters of water I use 1/16 almost exclusively. Sometimes Ill go down to a 1/20 if Im fishing structure and the water is warm.

Same as a soft plastic rig, double hops and triple hops. You could also just dead stick it and let it flutter in the current.

Not sure which spot you mean. Theres fish everywhere, just depends on the tide, time of day etc. All spots produce.

Even big fish will rarely peel 150 meters of braid. Unless its a big king you are usually pretty good if you take your time.

I prefer them. No need for backing. 150 yards of 0.6 and you are good to go. No fuss.

Yeah the fanboyism is a bit weird. I favour Shimano but I own a Daiwa medium light setup and a Penn reel with a daiwa rod. The real winners are people that order all brands, because they get to experience all models and decide for themselves.

I recently picked up a Twin Power FE over this (was looking at 3000 in both), was a tough choice but TP gives me a bit more versatility for bigger boys. Curious to see what next years excense looks like or 2026s Stella. Will be looking to upgrade my 4000/5000 reel so will likely chose one of those two models or another TP FE

just asking why you prefer the high outgoing tide? i wouldve thought that you you fish the incoming as whiting roam the flats for food but maybe im wrong

I just meant that I have more water to work when the tide is at its highest. On the low tide the water is all the way back near the drop off, at the time of filming it was only a couple of hours after the low tide I believe.
