Can you put things in Dark mode when creating a video? I can't see the interface too well.

It is hard to see when you move the mouse so quickly. Do you have a vidoe tutorial in Dark mode? Thanks

When swapping to a different size, should you recalibrate as a last step?

3d ai studio is worthless. cant even see what it can do without forking over 15 bucks. all of these failed my voronoi balogna test. copilot passed but it wont give you a model

Im not against AI to help buuuutttt be real be real about it! I draw anime and i used AI to draw my image for my profile why? i dont have the time and 2ed the creativity for a drawing just doesn't come... ill literally sit there on my graphics tablet and i hit the undo button so many times that i would save so so much time for my projects and my everyday life. Im not a machine 😂 nore do i ever wanna be.

$60.00 in US and Bambu sells for 39.00.... $20.00 for your logo??? sorry not for me
@emberprototypes

These are custom made by me to order. We're a small business and things are more expensive compared to mass produced things in China. The $20 discrepancy goes towards labor and shipping (shipping is free to Canada/US).

Yeah I'm really sorry about that it was working until around an hour ago but of course within a couple of hours of launch, 'technical issues'. Please use the direct link and this should work fine: 3drevolutionstore.com/blogs/news/build-plates Let me know if you have any issues still. Thanks for highlighting. The link in the video description has been updated to this one now too.

Thank you so much, this is finally the video, explaining the step to create a new filament for ALL my printers. Used to just modify the given and wonderd, why they would not show up on my other printers (into bambu for nearly a month now and it drove me crazy) 👍👍

Could also use calipers. How would you do this for odd shapes?
@3DRevolution
@3DRevolution 3 күн бұрын
This method is redundant now since Bambu Lab introduced a measuring tool which I covered in a more recent video. I'm not entirely sure what you mean about using calipers. Whaf I'm showing here is how to measure specific lengths or areas of a digital 3D model. To be able to use calipers you'd need a physical model but you would likely want to know these measurements before printing in most cases.

ASTM D6400 is the exact standard that makes PLA hard to compost. Showing more filaments that are compostable under the exact same conditions is not a composting improvement at all.

So the main problem is that the cardboard spools edges that roll off have wear and cause flocks to go everywhere ? So why dont we just print 2 rings with a L profile and glue them on the cardboard spools edges ? Or if you want to go overboard 2 oversized disc wich will be glued of clipped to the outside to the spools so plastic runs on the rollers instead of paper ? Edit: Wow, already invented hahaha

This is great! thank you! Perhaps you can help me solve a problem i have been trying to solve? I am trying to embed some text into an object as a different color and have it on the bottom of the part facing the build plate for a super smooth finish. But when i slice it, the text just disappears.

Great video! One question though: How do you explain (and more importantly, prevent) the shift of the mesh output? I thought it was just me but noticed your cube+benchy union also shifts. It doesn't matter when you only have 2 parts in the object, but when you are using the mesh function on 2 of a multiple part object, the output shifting really messes up the entire object's alignment (and necessitate to do the alignment all over again)

Great content! Was looking forward to this because I’ve experienced the “incompatibility issue”… is there any better way to work around me the problem than create a text box with desired font in PowerPoint, export it as image, convert it online with a, say, png2svg tool, and finally import it in your 3D CAD?

I tried all of them and none of the mesh that were generated are usable to me. The images that are being generated are getting very good but the mesh are so bad. I have not seen any improvements in the results since your last video. Try with prompt "Medieval round shield with detailed engravings" and you will see.

Copilot and CHAT_GTP are based on the same engine but trained differently... thus you can't expect good result if the data was not trained accordingly

Those who complain about AI's are rocks that do not want to move to the future. It's just an assistant.. much like a slave in prehistoric time 😂
