What's the use for the coach behind the tender? Probably a stupid question but I'm intrigued

Surprised that you weren't on the station or the footbridge, good video.

We appreciate you capturing a lovely video of the Saphos train on Monday, June 3rd! The charter credits should be attributed to Veenus, not Johnson’s Coaches, who were among our guests on the train. Would you mind adjusting your content accordingly and tag @VeenusTravel? We’re more than happy to share your video once this is rectified. Many thanks for understanding!

Thanks for sharing this, D213 Andania was the loco my Grandfather drove on his last day as a driver for the LMS back in the mid 60's. we recently found a photograph of him leaning out of the cab window at the end of his last shift. Locomotive Services Ltd arranged for us to meet Andania when it returned to Crewe from a recent whistling Highlander trip so that we could recreate the photograph with me leaning out of the cab..it was a wonderfully generous thing for them to do.

In my opinion, there's nothing better than seeing a loco in the livery and condition as she was back in the day along with a set of beautiful, era-appropriate coaches

Why do the Deltic hauled sets of carriages (3 and 5 coach sets) not include a guard’s brake compartment in them? They weren’t DOO in those days.

Great layout. Would be even greater if it was pre-dated by thirty years or so to the days of proper trains. I used to go to the Mirfield area spotting in the early/middle 1950s, it was a lot busier in those days and there was a lot more variety on what you saw. (Lowers head to below parapet to avoid flak !)
