"The reality is that we can never achieve full neutrality or objectivity." This is a minority position in philosophy of science, and I am convinced it is simply wrong. Regarding empirical research, scientific methods are designed to eliminate any effects of the positionality of the researcher on the result. "And this is OK." No, this is not OK. If there is still a bias in the results originating from your identity as researcher, your experimental design and/or analysis methods are deeply flawed.

They’re not “very different” at all, they’re literally exactly the same, you just gave two different examples of how genetic drift could happen.

A bit of a hiccup with working with a laptop is you've got to be able type quickly if you want to get all the notes down when a teacher's talking or something. A healthy mix of paper and technology, it works really well for me," she said. Hi well done an excellent job. How can I paraphrase this?

I think they are saying you have an overall population that decreases to a smaller amount like the overall size of the bottle is greatly reduced at the end of the neck.

In bottleneck effect, initially there were a lot of Alleles present in a population but after some sort of accident they get reduced, there are only very few types of alleles left(which is referred to as the bottleneck here). so whatever allelic frequency is now left in the population decides the new sample population to be formed.

You can also watch amoeba sisters, they explained it well
@knuckleball7343

It is basically that the remaining organisms left don't always represent the same alleles as the ones in the the original population, thus making the allele frequency change.

This is instructional! I've been trying to look for a vid similar to yours that explains everything in this vid!Your content reminds me of the channel of Dr Ethan. Ethan's explanations are totally useful and I really learned a lot for my wellness. He is the most informative medical student in Nottingham and he teaches diabetes and health symptoms. I suggest you check his KZfaq out and give the doc a subscribe! 👉 #FutureDrEthan

I think by "paper" you meant college essays and not research papers. In that case this is great. If you meant the latter, however, this makes zero sense, because you tried to fit one framework to "research" across disciplines. There is no such thing, btw. Research in English and research in Mathematics have nothing in common. The method of coming up with an interesting and tractable paper idea for an English PhD student vs a mathematics PhD student vs a biology PhD student have nothing in common with one another. So with that interpretation, this didn't work.
