I purchased this bundle, I got it a few days ago, and of course, looked up inspiration and came across you, which I am so thankful I did, such cute cards, and gives me lots of ideas. I don’t like the cost of postage going up but everything‘s going up, I’d much rather postage went up then the price of food. I do like trying different techniques, but I love layering stencils a lot.

I would have been lazy and put the patterned paper on the base then put the hexagon and strips on later - I guess that would be a faux pieced project😊😊

I absolutely LOVE the way you colored the cherry blossom die cut! So pretty! And a good technique to keep in mind when I feel too overwhelmed by the idea of coloring in an entire image. I've only ever seen fractured cards made where the center shape and 1/4" strips are placed directly on to the patterned paper and it only *appears* like the pieces are perfectly cut. I know it was a pain in the butt, but the patterns facing different directions with your geometric paper looks really interesting! Tfs 😊

I incorporate several techniques in cards, except for hot foil and water coloring. I will continue to send out cards for birthdays, Christmas. Easter and Valentines, as well as thank you and get well cards. Sometimes I hand deliver to closeby people, but I think kids are excited to get their own mail

Great cards. I definitely gravitate towards ink blending style but I definitely try other things as well. Postage for 60 cents sounds like heaven. I live in Sweden and they just upped the postage this year to 18 kr which translates to about 1,50 dollars… 💸

We have a family oriented Christmas with a dinner with all the trimmings on Christmas Day and a bar b que on Christmas Eve my 5 children are all grown up and whichever ones can make it as we are in two different countries We used to do Christmas pyjamas but now we do funny Christmas t shirts,. Our tree goes up on December 1 st e get the t shirts on Christmas Eve and everyone wears their new t shirts on Christmas Day. We always read the Christmas story and play continual music traditional, religious and modern but of course we have our favourites . Each year we have a theme this year it is ‘All about Jesus’ - last year it was Harry Potter I chose the theme this year because I will be recovering from a rather big surgery. We exchange presents and we always ave some kind of Advent Calendar. That’s enough about our family Christmas here in sunny New Zealand Have an amazing Christmas Jennie

I love this. The hardest thing for me was my children growing up and sharing them. I love that you found ways to still have a family Christmas. And the theme idea is so cool! Have a very Merry Christmas and holiday season!

Before gifts are opened, we crowd in front of the tree for a family picture! We love looking back at past pictures. Especially as the kids have grown and we've added in-laws and grandkids! The one the grands enjoy, well, we all love it is hunting for the hidden pickle ornament. The winner gets a McDonald's gift card. It is such a popular tradition that we came up with the pickle plaque that the winners name goes on. As each grand has graduated high school, they no longer are eligible for the pickle hunt. Merry Christmas, thank you for sharing.

@JennieDesignsWithPaper7 ай бұрын
All of the card bases are US A-2. 4 1/4 by 5 and a 1/2 inches. The measurements of each layer and its mat were determined by the card sketch I used. I know if you go on to Pinterest or even just your browser and search card sketches with measurements, a lot of card sketches come up with the measurements all ready there.
