The tone the guitarist got on vinyl was so good, I figured I would see Marshall’s, which there are, and I thought I would see a gold top , late 60s era . The sound on this phone recording is terrible. Interesting to see it is mostly, maybe all , downstrokes on the rythym hand. I expect that has something * to do with his awesome hard rock tone . He had a sound for sure. First heard them around ‘78, the old recordings still sound great, that’s saying a lot. Let’s shake was one of the first songs I learned, still trying to perfect it to the standard of the recording.

Great versions of their best songs. The guitar is still in punkrock mode. The speed of the songs is fueled by kerosene. The band looks even speed influenced, without some sleep the last 3 days before this event took place... Great show, great musicians, the best voice of rock'n'roll, makin' his testament. R.I.P. And the smell of death is all around...

Great to see BUZZ THOMPSON playing harmonica and back up vocals. This must have been after his 1st stroke because he isn't playing guitar too! Rest in Peace and love forever Buzz and Ronnie! Thanks for all the GREAT night's on the Dance floor. ❤🎸🎶💃🏻🎉

About those three hopping girls I think I hear Frankie say something at the end of the song about them being the three daughters he never knew he had or something to that effect. Great responsive audience too, thanks for this great post

Here I am watching this as I struggle with the pain of a broken foot, but oddly the pain has diminished the moment ol' Ronnie said Mary Lou. Ronnie truly brought real rock-n-roll to Canada in the late '50s and then trained a bunch of kids to be the best Band ever. It's great they all left a lot of great stuff for us that'l be there 'til we don't need it anymore.

Paul The Dowser may be Ontario's most famous dowser (I'm not sure), but I do know that he was one of Southern Ontario's most important music promoters when it came to booking Canadian bands and getting them a chance to show their stuff. Teenage Head was only the beginning of his influence and impact.

Frankie was an innate trendsetter, forging his unique style. Every subtle move he made was distinctly his own. He exuded captivating charm, keeping spectators guessing with each unpredictable action. Those fortunate enough to know him carry an indelible mark left by his presence. Gord, a gentle spirit, never encroached upon others. Steve, a silent force, awaits his moment to convey his essence. Dave, a compassionate and amiable individual, graces us with his presence. It was an absolute joy to have crossed paths with each and every one of them.
