Of course you can easily ride a cruiser in Europe! No problem.

Cruising a motorcycle is better for the reputation of biking too. Us bikers are a minority with haters everywhere. Hooligan riding, going too fast, and scratching pegs 'round every corner just upsets muggles. Like it or not, as a group us motorcyclists NEED to consider the wider population if we want a future riding.

Great informative video. And accurate also. Only one suggestion. Can you show and name the make and model of your bike at start of video? I was trying to figure it out the whole video. Japanese cruiser? Which one...

You're absolutely correct Yammi noob. Is comparing apples with oranges.. or perhaps apples to bananas.. they have different purposes.. I'm 65 and I can't ride along with leaning over a tank on a crotch rocket... I'm not looking to do wheelies and stunts and race around town or race around tight roads... I just bought a Yamaha 1300 Royal Star it's a 1996.. has 30,000 miles on it and was well maintained as the owner is a motorcycle mechanic.. I personally know.. I paid $2,000 in the Yamaha is in mint condition.. it has running lights. Large windshield.. floorboards and saddlebags... Yes it's a big heavy cruiser.. but the V4 engine has plenty of power... At my age I just want to ride down the highway and enjoying the ride.. not trying to get there fast.. not racing.. I'm not doing wheelies and stunts.. just enjoying the ride!

Why do so many people say "ineligible" when they mean "eligible"? Not just second language English speakers but English folks themselves say it too!

My dear man. First of, YN is an entertainer in the first place. You can call him a clown if you will, but he is literally here to - 1st entertaint and - 2nd inform. Talking everything what he sais seriously will lead you to buying a turbo busa as a first bike. I absolutely would not agree that performance is what he praises in his moto life, he praises fun the most. And thats unfortunately true, cruisers are not fun, at all. And then you go arguing about how a cruiser is about scenery, low seat height community etc. Truith is, outside of seat height, a good adventure bike will do everything better. 1st, you can cruise on any bike outside of dire sprotbikes, even on sport tourer you can absolutely ride at 40 mph while enjoying the view. On an ADV bike you will have the same view as on a cruiser, if not a better one. Its the same for naked. I have 6 degree lean forword on Sportster and wooping 7 on a Honda CB1000. And 0 on a GS or Africa Twin, i can just seat totally upright. This is exactly what Spite sais in his video about cruisers - problem with them is that ADV bikes are just better at what cruisers suppose to be best at. Yes, lower seat height, that point stands. So basically if you want scenerey AND a lower height and you can sacrifce better engine, better brakes, better electronics, better seating position, better cornering, better offroad capabilities, if you can drop all of this because you need a lower seat height - well, you got me there. And for community i am sorry that point is just your personal matter. Finding a decent riding group that waits for everyone and stays as a group is totally irrelevant to a bike you ride. My friend rode with one infamous 1 percenters for 3 years, (he quit after completeing his time as a prospect since he realised he didnt want to tie his life with criminal activity for the end of it) he said they ride like literall animals. Totally cruiser riders, like you cant be more cruiser guy than a 1percenter international MC. I have some mixed groups we ride in a pack and wait for everyone if someone cant keep up. For me the number one reason people like cruisers is because its magical appeal. And Yammie actually talks about it, its some magic, some huge back story ascosiated with riding a cruiser. And the way V-Twin feels and sounds - well nothing does it like that, I would actually say that every reason you advocate outside of seat height is actually less important then a huge appeal cruisers has emotinally and mythologically, if i may. V Twin sound, classic looks, low torque, drrrdrrdrr between your legs - thats why people actually ride cruisers. TLDR - you can cruise on any bike, while having even better view and comfort for you and your passanger on specifically ADV bikes. Riding groups is something composed out people, not bikes, just find one you are comfortable with. Low seat height is unbeatable tho, thats true. Oh and ride what you enjoy, dont let anyone affect your life choices. Just be safe. And YN, as much of a clown he is, is an immensively passionate and well informed person who does a great public service. He hates Ninja 650, and i started on it and consider it one of the best beginers bike ever. Someone once mentioned him that in a drag race Ninja 650 outperformed i think Aprillia and Yamaha, and he responded to that with "still sucks lol". I would be mad to take that seriously. If you want to promote cruiser riding i think the best way is to be passioned about and do content. Look at brian_636, that dude alone almost convinced me to buy a Harley. Lol.

On my triumph 900 rally pro I bought Outback tek engine guards and bash plate then the T-Rex racing luggage rack as it is stronger. Outback advises against not using a top case and just 8kg, 16 lbs and not use as backrest. The panniers racks are set up to use Mosko Moto soft side bags. Hard side luggage as more secure theft wise but if you drop the bike there is a very real possibility of catching you lower leg under the edge of the case with broken bones. Haven't found a top case yet. On any brand of motorcycles I wouldn't purchase accessories from the dealer unless an aftermarket idem.

top opening interferes with a normal givi or shad top box. i have no problem with side but yes it will come out easier. there is only one side hard box taht opens from the front and rear. . Opening from the rear is blocked by a 48L top box; or bigger.

I part exchanged my Tiger Sport 1050 for a Tiger 900 a month ago. I have been riding for 40 years & I think the Tiger 900 is the best bike I have ever owned. The bike is packed with useful tech & is light enough to flick around a car park like a BMX. No more worrying about dropping it. I'm 2 up touring with my wife from Santander to Barcelona in July so will be interested to see how it performs on a long trip. The 900 has put the fun back in to biking again because it is so accessible.

Cruisers are dangerous trash and no one should, realistically, ever subject themselves to one. Even as a newbie, if by some miracle you do the right thing when you're in trouble, on a decent commuter or adventure bike you'll escape, and on a cruiser you'll scrape and die like a moron. Cruisers: not even once, kids.

For my BMW gs, I got my Outback panniers rack and boxes from GIVI and the engine guards as well, and they are great - much cheaper than BMW or Triumph. I am about to purchase the Triumph 900 and will just purchase the rack from GIVI and my boxes will work perfectly. Like you did, I put the OEM BMW skid plate on as it is fine and strong, but I put barkbusters on rather than the BMW handguards. Aftermarket accessories are much cheaper, and more flexible in terms of changing or adding parts, and better quality.

A ride a 250cc fully automatic bike with a sport bike design, but I ride to cruise. I just like the look and feel of the sport bike, hut it by no means has that performance. So i guess its blasphemy to both sides. Lol. At the end of the day whats most impoetant ia ridonf what you enjoy. Yami Noob kinda has this elitist gate keeping mentality that doesnt understand that people seek their own experience drom a ride.

You need to watch ARieman1 and learn about loading "adv" bikes. He goes into honest detail about how the hard luggage systems are purely disastrous. There is a science to this sport, and you need to approach motorcycling with physics in mind. You make reference to "doodle", she is completely the most ill informed person in the adv world, hands down.....come on guys and girls.....take a step back and pull out the science, instead of all the nonsense.

2 things, 1) every 1 hour of riding shut the motor off and let completely cool down... 2) vary speed, start at 40 bring it up to 50 then back down to 40 then up to 60 then back down to 40 then up to 70 (or full speed) then back down to 40, avoid sustained speed for extended periods of time, meaning don't hold it at a given speed for any length of time.. (up and down in speed and let it cool every hour), once broke in and after oil change drive it normally..

I prefer reviewers who get straight to the point. Instead of storytellers who tell what they are going to tell and why they are going to tell what they are going to tell. Let's call it the last mistake. 😂Another thing that leaves me puzzled: these are real beginner mistakes (so the beginner is excused), but I can't imagine this is a motorbike for beginners. Anyway: always ask around before you buy. That being said, nice video.
