I think more people were mad about being overcharged for the whole packages. Over 16k a person is insane. We weren’t mad about the hot weather the no rooms and the long bus rides. We were mad we were cheated.

is that the price in the US. In Indonesia, there are packages, and the most expensive reaches up to 19K. If you want cheaper package, you can apply for govt rate, but you'll have to wait around 25 years.

Assalamo alaikum sheikh. I have lived in New Zealand for half my life and am now thinking of hijrah options as I have two boys whom I want to experience their deen in an authentic way and in an environment where they can build some strong foundations. Unfortunately there are no Islamic schools where I am in New Zealand so my sons cannot get the Islamiceducation that I want them to get. I have thought about going to an Islamic country many times but as you are aware, it's almost impossible to get a Visa to an Islamic country where I can live for a few years so my children can learn the foundations of their religion. Would you recommend going to Australia as a an option? Are there any good Islamic schools where they can study and develop their religion? Jazakallah khair.
