Oh, my, as if struck by an electric shock, before the first riff and a divine howl straight from Eddie's heart, buried deep in my soul, like Cupid's hooked arrow, aimed at a burning spirit. A performance that leaves me down there on the stage, collecting the scattered pieces of dreams and pain in an ode of perfection, supreme, rough and wild. I'd rather be, I'd rather be...with an animal, wow, pure raw power in total. Love it all, when people were rockin' in a free world 🌎 🌹❣️🐉💫👑

This LIVE ON TV performance was just insane. I remember watching it live because as a long time Neil fan I knew what was coming and it was still jaw dropping. I was chuckling all the way through. Neil already was the Grandfather of Grunge, but this cemented his reign. Shortly after this Neil toured with Pearl Jam as his backing band and they also recorded the Mirror Ball album together. I love every distortion filled second!

Animal is missing McCready entirety and Keep on rockin' is painfully slow. There, I said it

30 years later and this is still the greatest live performance I have ever watched; only difference is now I'm watching it on KZfaq instead of on VHS. Always fucking loved how Eddie gave the microphone stand to a member of the audience; I wonder if they still have it?

Met these MEN on a LAX to MIA flight but did not know who they were. I was a UAL Flight Attendant flying an Empty "Ferry" Flight, so I wanted to sit in First Class. I was struggling with some Family issues and just having a tough time of it being away for work. Was even more Disappointed b/c the Gate Agent made me sit in "Coach." And she Starred 😳 at me as she handed me my Ticket saying 😳"Have a one-of-a-kind flight" which baffled me. So I boarded and walked through the Empty First Class, Empty Business Class, and alllll the way back to the Coach Class last rows (on a 777.) Grabbed blue jeans out of my carry on and hit the head to change, because I had dressed up for First Class but now that I was seated in Coach, figured I'd dress for comfort. When I returned there was 6 guys all settling in around my Seat.😩 The Whole Cabin was Empty, 😲 and they were all in my Vicinity. 😤 So we took off and my Seat Row Partner - shout out to Rick Huber - started chit chatting. I notice you're upset, want to talk about it? he asked. I said "No." But we started chatting anyway. Next thing I know I see all the Guys heads kind of leaning our way. We chatted the whole 5 hrs back to Miami. Just Rick and I talked, the others didn't say a word. Upon Landing, I felt self-conscious, so I apologized for all the talking. I noticed what one of them was wearing, and to break the ice I said: "Aren't you kind of old for a Full Set of Leathers?" 😂 This made the guys chuckle. I asked, "why their trip to Miami?" and Rick told me "We're in a Band and playing tonight." I said, oh, that explains the leather which got another chuckle. 😂 (I later learned it was none other than Mr. David Marks wearing the leather 😄) I asked, "What Band are you in?" Rick said: "maybe you know it: The Beach Boys and we're playing the U.S. Open on Key Biscayne tonight; would You like to attend?" 😶 Never in my wildest dreams would I ever guess that I would get to Dance on Stage with the Beach Boys looking out over the World's Top Tennis Athletes!🎉😃😎🤩🎊 These MEN listened to Me and my grave Concerns for over 5 hours and this was THEIR WAY of HEALING ME. (meanwhile in 2001 weren't they dealing with Brian?) BB's Song Helps us Adult's face adversity by appealing to the Youth and core Strength in us - through universal MUSIC. I think it's something like 400 times Singing is mentioned in the Bible. Hymns, Psalms, Spiritual Songs are all used as a means of expressing Joy, Thanksgiving and Lamentations....therefore..... The Beach Boys/MEN's Music will always be a Safe Place for me to go when the World isn't. Long Live the Beach Boys!
