40 years later he is supporting Palestine. He may not believe in políticians but still a socialist. Good for him. He is The man.

I really loved this concert ty. I’d like to see a bit more variety of styles in Paul’s music, he obviously has an exceptionally gifted talent. His voice and singing style, reminds me a bit of Van Morrison. The trumpeter was like Miles Davis and in places, Paul’s guitar reminds me of Hendrix. Every instrument was played beautifully, the sax, drums, bongos and glockenspiel I think. The backing singers also sang absolutely beautifully. A phenomenally talented band, I think they could play pretty much anything they want. Personally, I’d love a couple of songs, where Paul hands over the mic to the other singers and really lets go on his guitar. They could do something soulful smooth and mellow too. And some blues. I wonder if Paul has collaborated with any other great artists, like Clapton, Knopfler and some Motown R&B singers for example? Or how about Carlos Santana and some Latino soul? I love the tone in Paul’s voice and he has a superb range. It would work well into any music style, I reckon he’d do a great job of anything, even some rockabilly I daresay. 💛💪🏻

Les is such a severely underrated bassist! Nothing fancy, just solid playing, tasteful licks, and punchy tone. Class act!

Such a ballsy fucker to jetison two big careers and go out there with a completely clean slate. Early 90s Weller was at his best, before he brought in that perenial leach Craddock.

I remember the thrill of hearing a band that had acoustic guitar at the forefront, when evrything else you heard was keyboard- and synth driven

And in my room, I'm alone in my room And may staying here for just a while And in my casket, I'm alone in my gloom And may staying here for a while Oh can't you see, light is only in your eyes Would I be guilty or would I be The sound you bring is an antiquated thing So please don't look to me for guidance Charlotte Anne, I do understand Charlotte Anne, I do understand Charlotte Anne, I do understand My splendid art, oh my sad profession Now stick with me and I'll betray you For should I lose my bad depression My splendid art I will betray you
