It is so unfair... I already did the hard part and came out to her and yet still im her daughter and a young lady and she doesnt understand how awful it makes me feel. She just brushed over the fact that I am trans and told me that it might just be my autism or that I will probably grow out of it.

The worst part about being a closeted trans is that I live in a place where the teachers can only call me by a “nickname” if my parents sign a paper about it. They say it’s because “We don’t want our kids playing dress up as the opposite gender” the crap’s messed up. They’re so anti-trans that they aren’t letting kids be called by their preferred pronouns without informing a parent. If you were assigned to be a women, you HAVE TO BE called “she/her” and your birth name. Unless you get your parent’s permission. As a closeted trans minor, I can’t come out to my family. I’m gonna get killed for just existing. Why should I be fearing for my life before it’s even fully begun. This is so stupid, Where did we go wrong? TRANS RIGHTS MATTER🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️ WE DONT WANT TO BE FUGITIVES. LET. US LIVE.

Dude I just watched a video about an anti-trans law passed in my local area and all it was, was just people agreeing that it’s unsafe to let trans women into the women’s restroom at school. It’s so annoying to see people agree with stupid nonsense like this. Trans women are women. Let them use what’s comfortable to them. (Edit) I wish that I could tell my parents I’m trans but I’d be kicked out and nobody in my family would take me in. It sucks having to worry about stupid crap like this. Why wasn’t I just a boy. Trans rights matter 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍⚧️

Im genderfuan, demiboy, enby transmasc, whatever you wanna call me. Once this girl in my class (or the other, i dont remember, lol) mistook me for a guy and put her hair behind her ear. In response, i turned around and said, "Huh?" We laughed about it... but now... it made me happy to know i might actually pass if im not with my transphobic parents, who thankfully don't know shit yet. Definitely reaching in a lot of these. There's no "he/she" in Korean so unless they specifically say "that man/woman" or he/she/him/her in English, none of them are explicitly heterosexual OR homosexual. A song about sex/sexual tension/desire does not immediately become homosexual just because 2+ people of the same sex are singing it. Same goes for music videos (like Red Lights) that have the singers performing together (can you imagine the shitshow if they had a man and a woman do that MV, in Korea???). The music video for K Will's song is about homosexual one-sided love, but the song itself isn't explicitly. Sugar Rush Ride isn't meant to be sexual (though it comes across that way on the surface), and isn't about love at all - it's about growing up and becoming an adult (maturing). "Loving you is a crime" is also not explicitly gay lyrics. A few are right though. LibidO is specifically about exploring your sexual curiosity even as it applies to people of the same sex, so it can be gay (though OOO has said that the music video itself is absolutely homosexual). (g)Idle's Oh My God is explicitly gay because of the English "she took me to the sky" (and good for them, I love that song and video). Obviously men singing about playing with a boy is pretty homosexual (EXO).

as I know about the lack of "he/she" in Korean, I do think it's fair to consider no gender specified songs queer. it's common for queer artists to write lyrics without specifying the gender so it could pass as straight and avoid a potential censorship or controversy. i, being bisexual, tend to write using non gendered language if possible. but you're right, when a guy doesn't sing "girl" it doesn't make the song gay.

@@user-dh8nt5mj5t Uhhh... if there's no he/she, then why would that make it queer? It's literally not. You need pronouns of some kind in order to tell if it's hetero, homo, or whatever else. If they aren't there, then it can't be anything. It's just completely neutral. YOUR PERSONAL OPINION about what you perceive from the lack of pronouns might differ, but it doesn't change the fact that without pronouns, it is neither heterosexual nor non-hetero (including queer and whatever else you want to label it as). You can't force another language's grammar (and any associated cultural implications or norms) on it. Korean is Korean, English is English, etc. Korean really doesn't even have he/she -at all-, it's all "that man", "this woman", "that person/human", titles like "grandmother" or "uncle" or "older woman (noona)", swearwords like "that bitch/bastard", etc. They have you/me/I/us/we/our. Just because it's translated as "he/she/they" or whatever doesn't mean it's correct (technically it would not be correct at all, thus a poor quality for accuracy), and I see that ALLLLLLL the time in fan-created subs and translations. Seriously, think about it. "That person and their lover" could be ANYTHING. A man and a woman, 2 men, 2 women, 2 NBs, 2 trans people, or literally any combination of any gender identity. It is not inherently queer, and is not inherently hetero.

i feel so bad for the other trans folk in this comment section :( yinz seem like such great people (´；Д；`) but here’s a few things that have recently happened in my self-made man journey :)) 1: im rather smaller chested, so i bought some smaller sports bras and they bind so well omg :))) 2: my sister helped me choose a new name !! im still trying to pick between Peter, Parker, eddie, Bruce, or the one my sister picked, victor 3: i came out to my mom!! she still doesn’t use he/him on me though :( she’s older so i kinda expected it 4: i recently went to a 5 below in my area and i met a cool as fuck non-binary person and we talked about Jojo’s bizarre adventure. :))) (ill post more if anything else happens or if anyone else wants some more little snippets)
