First off, you need to wipe down the coils with a rag and also as far as you can go. Not only to get out debris but to get any left over water out of it. Also keep in mind that oil will expand when hot. Good video!

Remember to check it with your dipstick. Beavis & Butthead reference when they were ordered to change the oil in the fryer at Burger World, but wound up getting motor oil and pouring it into the old fryer oil.

Aren’t you supposed to use some type of degreaser? That new oil looked really weird too, white and foamy doesn’t sound right. I wouldn’t eat here

Our hotel uses a degreaser along with hot water from an always hit hose.

If you have a company that picks up your old oil, you could ask them if they will handle your water waste as well. If they don’t, they’ll more than likely refer you to someone who will.

I know this is a year late lol. But atleast at my resturant we dump the water/oil mix into the oil waste. The people that come pick up our old oil filter out the water.
