He’s the right guy for this job. We need to tweak a couple things but I think we’re very close to being a really good playoff team. We need to get rid some players and get some size. Continue to push the importance of defence and speed but add size and continue to draft well. Go jets!

Wants to modernize analytics in the organization, he's watching all the playoff games and ready to take pieces from things the other best teams are doing, knows the special teams need to be way better (Lauer out and looking at new candidates), 55/81 and others need to continue to evolve defensive game at 5-on-5. Players acknowledging the next level of the other teams still playing in terms of compete and level of play during the postseason. Lots of good indicators.

I think we should have went a Evason/Nelson Arniel we get coached Moose,Ended playing Career Moose IHL and Jets in 80s,Hawerchuk in cornwall in junior. But has been allowed to be good cop to bowness bad cop and unfortunately you just can switch to hard all the sudden and we know how locker room was/players bad habbits with Maurice. It definitely seems highly likely that happens again. I think fans get upset Chipman runs jets like a mom and pop shop tbey dont move guys im even doubtful they move Pionk/Schmidt/Stanley. They show huge amount loyalty to players and Chevy. But i do think he pushes youth into roster Mcgroarty after NCAA,Lamber,Chibrikov,Heinola gives Salmonsson look.

Hey IC boys, checking in late as usual as mornings aren't my strong suit... excellent coverage as always.. I'm happy with getting Arnie in as coach. Our boys are not the easiest to coach as we have plenty of personalities in the locker room that vie for attention... but the core and the leadership of our Captain and Asst Captains is, for the most part, exemplary. Watching with optimism to see who is brought in to coach the special teams this season as they need to be better. Mike commodore always "getting screwed" by coaches, has the nerve to call them loser but really he just lucked out one year and was on a team that went on a run. If he was worth anything maybe he still be involved with the game instead of running his mouth. Scott played more NHL games than Mike btw.

Not sure about this hire. Hope the lousy pk and the in game management (game planning) improves immensely. Arniel also was responsible for playing struggling players in positions where they can’t succeed. Tnse and nepotism go hand in hand. What associate coach do they know from the past that they can now bring in? So they went on l information gathering sessions rather than conducting real interviews? Optically this just looks bad! I truly hope I’m wrong and only time will tell

Heinola had a great 1st preseason didn't make team for 3 years after... there was covid. Salmonsson even if does good will be on moose. Even how much of us would like to see Lambert,Chibrikov,Lucius,Mcgroarty over guys like Gus,kupari,ajf,toninato this organization lately likes to keep wasting prospects. Even something as 3 way in and out of lineup being up practicing big team instead of playing against suess/oligny career AHLers. Even all the Ehlers trade talks he most likely gets moved but Schmidt/Pionk/Stanley most likely back on team. Despite fans not wanting them for years. I think it bugs fans because since team came back prospects were not right away but given chances on main roster and since 2018 we have been pushing maenalainen,stenlund,kuhlman,AJF,Gagner,benn,Beaulieu,poolman,Sanford,gus,kupari. -Scheifele- played his 7g back to Barrie but given chance after OHL playoffs back on jets 4g. Then chance to be 3rd/middle 6 guy until became 1st liner. -Copp,Trouba,Roslovic,Appleton,Lowry,Ehlers,Petan,Harkins,Stanley,Samberg,Niku,Connor we were one of best teams to draft and have players make roster. Perfetti has been scratched in and out,Heinola up and down,Chisholm sitting in box so no one claims him,kovacevic,capobianco, The Schmidt or Pionk problem Best Ehlers trade Ehlers+Pionk for Pulock+Nelson+ pick Basically the salaries match we get a 2nd line center and top 4 dman. -i think alot of fans would rather have no Stanley,Schmidt,Pionk even if a team like Utah whoever takes them for basically free so have 6m cap space or fill it with a Tanev,Hamonic,Brodie,Edmundson,Demelo,lyubushkin ect. Even a guy who's RFA Breaden Schneider 22 RFA if we could move a Ehlers/Perfetti maybe a add a Stanley.

32:53 - If Dillon was willing to stay here for 3 years for the same amount or a slightly more it's worth keeping him. The Jets don't have anyone on the back end that's as solid or anywhere near as tough as Dillon.

1) Do you not consider Lowry part of the Jets core? 2) Steve Mason was traded to Mtl along with Armia and 2 draft picks for Mtl to buy him out. All so they could whiff on keeping Stasny. 3)Why don’t the Jets keep Miller? RHD and cost us a draft pick! 4) We cannot go one more year with Pionk or Logan Stanley on this team. Pionk needs to be stapled to Ehlers in a trade with money retained. Stanley is an example of how being an excessively tall athlete pays off even if you are terrible at what you do. He’s made several million now and it should be enough for him to move on to other pastures.
