Bobby drumming is mind boggling. He actually hates wearing shoes. His brother Ron is amazing on guitar. He actually has written his own theory called Oscillation Cycles.Spastic Ink is their project as brothers.....

I combined my two modules (Roland TD-11 and Roland TD-27) I also have and Alesis I/O and and Alesis DM5 so I could do a MASSIVE kit if I had enough rack space (I do have enough pads as it is). kzfaq.info/get/bejne/bseRisphzq6zp4E.html

While i love seeing "old guy composers" and "music theory teachers" react in awe to Matt Gartska, this technical breakdown is just awesome

12:32 probably more inspired by Immortal. Another badass black metal band. Check out one by one or tyrants it has a more thrash metal sound. One by one has an awesome drum track. Not as fast but sounds super heavy.

Greetings from Colombia... Do you think at 13:02 those are really some kind of ghost notes, or is it a fake (snare with 0 sound) due to video editing? Thanks!!

I think you'd love the meinl studio session video of Chronostasis. It's a project by Matt Garstka and guitarist Joshua de la Victoria, and chronostasis is their newest song.

There's another video lurking on YT that does break down the signatures - 4/4 alternating with 5/4, 5/8 and 3/4, 5/16 and 7/16.....all over the place. Both Bobby and Ron are unbelievably accomplished musicians. Nice reaction, I couldn't do one without crying in the corner :)

First of all: great reaction video dude. Second: the 'Studio Version' of the song had Alzazmon on drums, which was WAY before Nils; Third: as good as Nils is on drums (and in my opinion he's one of the best in history, on the same level as Dave Lombardo, Tim 'The Missile' Yeung, and Haruna), i personally think his predecessor Matt Modin fit Dark Funeral better. But regardless of my opinion on that, again great reaction video dude. Oh by the way, you just got a new subscriber.
