Critical aspect of driving/riding that is not taken seriously by the majority of people on the road. Nicely explained.❤ Most collisions that can be avoided are majorly due to a combination of target fixation and improper understand/implementation of counter steering.

Great discussion. A few aspects from my end: As a tourer myself, a point i would like to add is the mental preparation and the correct mindset. You rightly said that when on a tour, it is not a race. One must not try to set a very high target of distance. For example, in case I'm riding from Jamshedpur to Delhi, I should not try to push myself and my pillion to do it in one stretch. It is very necessary to take brakes at the correct time and be honest with yourself regarding the said correct time. This becomes more important when you have a pillion. Many a times, it is planned that we have to reach a specific place by the end of the day, in case it is not possible, it is advisable to be flexible and not take undue risk to reach that destination at the cost of safety. As towards the end of your ride, you will be tired, your focus will not be the the same as the start of the ride, you may be sleepy. The same will be applicable with your pillion also. Regarding the motorcycle: If you are planning to change something and just pulling it on till after the tour, and the tour is long, do it beforehand. Then run it in for 50 or so kms to ensure its proper functionality. Aux lights are great when they are used judiciously and setup in a way that does not blind oncoming traffic (left light at hi-beam level and to the mid of the lane to your left and, right light around 5-8° lower at low beam level and straight in line with the edge of your lane to the right.) For heaven's sake, do not use flashers on aux lamps. It can cause seizures to some people without your knowledge and you know where that will lead to on a road while driving. Stock exhaust if you don't want to have a headache, be a nuisance to society, get a challan, or get arrested. Things to carry: Engine oil, Duct tape, tyre inflator, puncture kit was already mentioned. I would add around 200 or 250 ml of 90 or 140 grade gear oil instead of chain lube as it saves space and works the same and Ear Plugs if your helmet is not as wind resistant as when new as the wind noise can stress you faster. (Not the ones that make you deaf, but the ones that cut the wind noise only). Luggage: Try to carry only what you really will need for the duration of the tour. We generally overestimate our clothing needs. Mainly, get used to the motorcycle. Do not just take a brand new motorcycle that you do not know and slap on touring accessories and start your tour. You can go touring on any motorcycle. It's your skill that's lacking, not the motorcycle. 😅 Still, I prefer the Dominar 400

Thank you for pointing out the cons... I really love MT graphics and color ways even planned to get one... But because the quality is so bad i went with axor street... I totally agree the paint quality is not great but it fits me perfectly and is super comfy... Although the wind noise is annoying.. i can deal with it. Great video btw 👍❤️

Currently the best bike for commuters Pulsar definitely male 150/125 cc Honda shine but tire not to the mark Honda sp same problem tire profile not ok... CT 125 almost best amongst them as per me It has power Mileage Tire profile also good Around 80k price Just engine not refined as Honda Hero splendour stylish but tire profile not good TVs raider is also good with modern specs with good mileage Above all obviously pulsar 150 king from past 15 Years ❤ It's definitely male 🔥

Lets make merch, lets make stickers, lets show the brands we have a good reach (member count).. voila you get the infamous RCB. Riders Community but members are not having a motorcycle. To get into a Bangalore rider group (they have a forum as well), first thing they would ask is about your motorcycle, not only that, you are not considered as a member until you join their welcome ride. It is absolutely opposite here, well when the main motive is to earn quick bucks, can't expect such quality.
