Its videos like this that reinforces the reason why I have only two items in my toolbox that fix ANYTHING! A credit card and a phone. Nice video, sir. Thank you for sharing.

You make it easy. Why didn't you blow out the dust to remove the dust for a tighter surface?

Very nice, but if you look closely you'll notice that door 🚪 is sagging; top gap is tighter that bottom on latch side. Everything else ok.

I assure you it wasn’t cheap. And why put a really heavy gate on a wall you can just jump over anyway? Just going to wear out somebody’s arm

So I have posts into concrete already from a contractor who never finished... one post is leaning and there's a difference of 1-1/2" top to bottom. Am I still ok just making the gate according to the smaller of the two measurements?

Where do you get the lead inserts these days? Do they even work in "hollow" bricks? Where do you get those hinges? What about that 1/4" difference in width between the top and the bottom? Its quite obvious the gap widens on the latch side from top to bottom.

You can adjust that with metal washers behind the posts and readjust .

I don't recommend iron. It might fall off once opened for various amounts of time. I recomend aluminum gate. Way lighter.
