I’ve been getting check oil level warning on my 1.5 tsi, was about half so topped up a little. Could warning mean too high? Or is that a different warning

Yes engine oil warning can be if it's too high or too low. Or even if it hasn't been serviced and reset correctly

On this particular car I went in through the upstream pressure sensor pipe. Any accessible location before the dpf, heat sensor, O2 sensor, differential pressure sensor. Etc

@@bobjames-k2u yea drivers side, some variants wont have that sensor so you will need to locate the differential pressure sensor or another entry point

Could you please highlight the name of spark plugs, air filter for I couldn’t see them. I recognized the name of the oil box but not the others. I also would like to know the name of the brakes oil that you use and names of other related items that need regular maintenance. Thanks I have a seat ibiza 2020 and I’m about to do regular maintenance and I’m freaked out about the use of correct materials.

I’ve got a Seat Tarraco 2019 2.0l diesel 190hp. The filter is facing upwards not sideways like yours. I believe my dsg is A DQ500? Is yours a different box?

There are a few different variants of the 7 speed dsg gearbox. Your DG500 is generally used on heavier applications with high torque. Even though it's appearance is different the servicing will be the same.

I have a 2019 Octavia 2.0 diesel 150 ps with the dsg DQ 381 7 speed.My Skoda dealer said I need to change the oil at 120.00 kilometers.I will change it before this but is this the 120.000 correct.Thanks making the video...interesting.

The dealerships often change the service intervals for certain items. Last I heard it was 70k miles which is about 120,000km. Personally I'd recommend every 40k miles. Thanks

Hi question why do u need to prime the filter by a scan tool should it just prime with ignition on n a few seconds off cranking

It will prime the filter by turning the ignition on and off a couple of times, but I find if you do it via the scan tool the vehicle will start alot better. This minimizes the chance of running your high pressure fuel pump dry and potentially causing damage.

My Skoda dealership says my 2019 1.6 TDI 7 speed dash gearbox is a sealed for life gearbox is this correct please if not what mileage or year do you recommend the oil and filter change please?

No automatic gearbox should be sealed for life. The way the gearbox works it's by pressure and numerous clutches which are designed to slip. This slipping will cause debris in the oil over time. Personally I'd recommend every 40-50k miles. If your call TPS I'm sure they will give you a quote for a service kit, along with their recommendations for intervals.

Same advice for any car purchase really. Ensure there's a good service history, reasonable warranty and arrange for an independent inspection of the vehicle prior to purchase.

Atleast 6 months warranty that covers major components. If your buying from a dealer you should be fine 👍

3 cylinder engines will always have slightly harsher vibrations due to the balancing of the engine. Completely normal on these cars

On mine astra h im bleeding the brakes done three of them but come cross front caplier right nipple wont move so ordered new front capliers, will i have to bleed all four again or can l just bleed the new caplier??

Clamp the caliper brake pipe before fitting the new one, then you'll only need to bleed that caliper 👍

I have a question: I have the same underlying problem with my Fiat Qubo 2016 model. 1. Flashing odometer 2. Blue & Me doesn’t work 3. Parasitic drain. So, yesterday I unplugged the cable that is connected to the Blue&Me module. And after 24Hrs the car’s battery health went down from 12.12v to 12.04v. What could be the reason? Is it because I didn’t do the Proxi Alignment? By the way, I recently added a third party stereo with a screen to my dashboard. Any help and tips are much appreciated. Thank you

It's possible that you may have another underlaying issue that's draining your battery. If you take a look on our channel we also show you how to test for parasitic drain. Basically you need to test which fuse is drawing power, then investigate that component. Before you get you get ahead of yourself test your battery, a bad battery can loose charge overtime.

Anyway, after 30Hrs I’m back again: 1. Unplugging the cable from the Blue&Me module (underneath the seat of the driver- Belgium) didn’t work. So, I remove the fuse F36 from the cabin (inside the car) fuse box to see if it shuts down all the radio, stereo and others that is using this fuse connection.

According to your experience, are these engines reliable in the long term ? Won't the intake valves get clogged up with carbon in the long run ?

We haven't seen this issue ourselves. From personal experience as long as the vehicle is maintained correctly it will minimise the chances of potential problems.

Some vehicles do have a control unit bleed function via diagnostics. But personally the only time I'd recommend using that function is when you replace the unit. Or if the manufacturers procedure specifically states to carry it out.

This is not something we have ever done but in theory it should be ok. But please note this deviates away from the procedure and we wouldn't recommend it.

The car used in the video was just for demonstration purposes whilst it was under going additional work. Including replacing those rear springs.
