I need a break from Don't Starve Together too, I've like 2700 hours of the game in the two years and a half since I bought it. I like the game, but it is always more of the same. I need to read more books, study more for my master's degree and even watch more movies and series. I came to a point in which I only used the desktop to play DST, and I don't do any other thing on the computer other than using Word to write my dissertation and play DST.

I have over many hours in dst and yeah I completely relate to this. The devs keep on releasing bite sized updates that we can play through in a day and changes the game in no significant way. I feel there has been no major updates in several years now. The new update schedule is not good either because they're basically giving us the same sized updates but in a even longer timeframe. Ever since klei got bought out I feel the quality has gone down dramatically

You were one of the big reasons i got into dst to start and i whole heartedly feel what youre saying ive sunk so much time into this game and i love it but it felt so consuming i havent played in atleast 9 months and havent followed any updates i get urges to revisit but when i take into account how many hours i have to sink to make any progress i lose that urge to play more wishing the best for you much love

The time thing is definitely a problem. Guess that's why I love playing wanda so much, she cuts off so many meaningless time. tbh I am not sad you want to leave, only lunatics would play the same game for their whole life. Good luck with whatever goals you have in your mind.
