Yes it has been a while sir Its called a “sway bar” or an “anti roll bar” . Not available on some markets. Ive found out it all depends on the engine.
@madcat45633 ай бұрын
@Arda86ca I thought it might be a sway bar. Thing it's also a 1hz 76 series, so it's interesting that it's different. It must be a regional thing. I'll confirm tomorrow morning.

Ya Gotta get some 79’s in that crowd. The Ute platform makes a tough tourer and a camping setup with kitchen makes these trips so much easier with a coffee machine, oven, pantry and shower in the back. Thanks for the content
@Arda86ca Жыл бұрын
The long wheelbase of the 79s is a bit harder to maneuver in tighter tracks, also everything you carry on the ute will freeze when the temperatures are cold. You cant sleep inside the 79. These are the 3 main reasons people dont buy 79s here.
@mystx42 Жыл бұрын
@@Arda86ca thanks bloke, just being funny cos I have a 79. Troopies have a hard core following here as well. Would love to go wheeling over there one day. Great to see Aussie products overseas(OldManEmu). The amount of Aftermarket on the Toyota 70 series has made an enormous amount of local manufacturing , I just didn’t realise how it had bled into international sales as well. The 70 (especially 79 series) in Australia is probably the reason Toyota kept making them. The reason the rear diff is offset is that the front had to be widened to fit the VDJ4.5 V8 diesel though I didn’t know all the variants had the same issue. We just use Neg50 rear steel wheels or there is an entire industry set up to either coil convert, chassis extend and or GVM upgrade. These are awesome trucks and glad to see you part of the team!!

I agree mate. ARB is probably the biggest Australian brand that is know worldwide. Well aside from Crocs i guess. These are great trucks like you said. We love them all!

@Arda86ca2 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot! The body is nearly identical aft the firewall. Frame is different as the 76 has wider front. Electronics are also different because the 77 runs on 24V system.
