Yes, that is a large slug moving slowly on the right. The hedgehog didn't stay long on this video unfortunately.

The bowl at the back had slugs in it unfortunately, the bowl at the front has water in it.

That is a hedgehog.

It is the same camera, she just came back out while it was light enough the night vision wasn't needed. 😀

There are a few ways to tell them apart. The males tend to be generally bigger and with wider faces. The males tend to try and circle around the females but will attack other males. You can also tell if you look underneath the hedgehog around where you'd expect its belly-button to be, around the middle, if it has something there it is a male. These are not traps. They are for feeding the hedgehogs. They are smaller to stop cats getting to the food.

That is a hedgehog running in our garden. It was a little far away (and moving away) from the camera unfortunately.

Thanks, we think these are two new hedgehogs, we've not seen them before but they do seem quite early out.
