Hey Marrcello my man, thanks for your videos!! is it possible to add an effect on a sample within a bar and not affecting the same sample on the other bars?

Also, if I wanted to record my vocals in a daw (with effects) and then turn it into a sample how would you suggest doing that. I am think re-amp through my mixer to the MPC. But maybe there is a simple way to keep it all digital. like load in the wave file, or connect the mpc through usb and just record it direct (digitally). The last option I through maybe save the vocal as a wave file and then connect the mpc to the computer via usb and browse to the computer file and load from there. But I am not sure what of these (if any) actually exist. or if there is a better way. ty

Very good video. I'm using MPC one a bit now, but I remain frustrated by the strong interface separation between audio and midi tracks, not very helpful for both recording and improvising sessions.

Really great Video - helps with my decision to maybe buy the mpc one. I honestly think the rimshot is way present though. I would have turned it down by at least by 4-8 db.

I copy the pad and make it a “note on” pad, then go into grid and make sure note end length reaches right spot for sequence transitions.
