Nice. I see everyone using netting for ceiling. Would 1” chicken wire be better? What’s the benefit of netting besides weight and cost?

I use 2in heavy knotted netting. I use keep snow from sticking. I still have to go out and give it a shake sometimes but I would have to do it alot more with smaller openings.

international 66 series had an over under thing and when you put it in under-drive they would quit moving and some people opened up the cover on the side of transmission to access it and welded it solid somehow, i do not know if that was the thing to do but it did get done sometimes
@mudbogger372
@mudbogger372 10 ай бұрын
I've seen/heard of a few fixes for this Oliver power booster. You still would be without booster drive but didn't have to source all the parts to delete the unit. I think one was welding the clutch pack together and one I seen had the booster in place but the clutch pack was gone and a straight drive couple was in its place.

All things considered doing well, been plenty hot and very humid lately and getting a little crowded which is causing some grief. I always take a bunch of time off in August for tractor shows and to get stuff done around the farm. Was going to add more phesant/peafowl pens but unfortunately had to have surgery so I'm laid up on light duty for couple months.

Netting on top, 2x4 wire on sides, no electric fence wire, and my underground barrier is just the tin is only down about 6in. Most people like to lay down wire so it's 4in underground and sticks out 2 ft around entire perimeter. Also this is a problem for the pheasants in that there's a spot for roosting to close to the netting.

Probably the best engine GM ever made. I've been beating the hell out of my 03 LeSabre for 200,000 of its 268,000! Still never touched it with a wrench, other than oil changes. Still runs like new!

@mudbogger372
@mudbogger372 Жыл бұрын
Yes they ARE a very tough engine, never said they weren't. I put on atleast 30K miles on it with the oil pressure all messed up. It was a high mileage car with plenty of rust, non-working A/C, and heater controls have been redneck fixed cause the climate control took a dive over 10 years ago. It just plain wasn't worth spending the money on a engine rebuild. So I ran it till it puked and now I finally have a use for one of my spare engines.

I think it was roughly $1,000 in lumber (going to be way more now) at least 130 8ft 2x4s, and some 10ft and 12ft 2x4s. The tin was all free, I think 3 rolls of 48"x50ft 2x4 wire.

Thanks for the kind words. When it comes to pens I'm function over looks with cost in the middle. Not to mention when I get all kinds of scrap metal for free I figure out ways to utilize as much as I can. Getting use to KZfaq is actually fairly easy, every now and then I learn something new. The hardest part is the filming and editing (at least for me).
