Prolly the worst Marauda EP (for me). Here are my reasonings: Primal Phantom- it's an ID so that's a bonus point...but the sustain at the back ruins it. The drops isnt really impacting me that much but it could help by switching up the BPM cuz I feel like it's too slow for my taste lol. Rating: 7/10 Galumph- mono to stereo...really Hamish? Ngl, this would be a 10/10 track if it weren't for the first drop being mono...the idea is sick, those fast gunbasses, VERY 10/10, but why does it have to be mono 😭😭😭. 2nd drop is alright doe. Also, intro feels like Rage Room. Rate: 8/10 That Marauda Song VIP: Same intro, buildup and outro as the original. The drops....kinda generic for Marauda..first drop sounds like Realm Of The Damned...but the gunbasses are from That Marauda Song. Second drop SAME THING. Meh song for me Rating: 6/10 Marauda needs to step up from this EP ngl, his past works are so mucb better than this like Tool Of Delirium, Realm Of The Damned, Blunder, Husk, etc.

If u don't like it a lot, then I feel like u could've rate the worst track lower to a 5 or lower. I find this ep disappointing compared to the others and overall jus meh except maybe gallumph is at least decent for me

I definitely went on the more chaotic route in this song with the "yin/yang" layout, weird time signature, and glitchy sound design but nevertheless, it was so fun making this track! You should def keep an eye out on Unbeyond Anthologies!

I definitely understand your criticisms! While most of them were kind of my intention so I have to disagree on them (most notably I had experimented with different snares and that one was the one that spoke to me imo), there are a few things I'd go back and change, namely the repetitive use of the dove sample which bothers me a touch. I would say a lot of the choices I made with Doves are because as a whole, I'm intentionally bucking a lot of modern production methods for ones more alike the early 2010s... as I'm gonna be honest, I loathe most modern dubstep production with a passion haha. I can see how that might not translate over for some people. I appreciate the coverage!

Had a blast seeing your reaction for Cíe! I get the confussion, I am def going through a change phase where I am leaving my focus in bass music and overall stop being a "mono genre" producer. I embrace genre-less and progressive music now hehe and just keep bass music as one of my influences rather than the core genre of my music 8) (Neoluminum was really kind for letting me be part of this with this kinda track LOL)
