Samsho 4 was such a masterpiece that 5 got overlooked. It's a crowning achievement for snk & I wish they'd make a 3d version ala soul caliber 2 (very fast playing 3d weapon fighter)

I think this is a great game, but the one thing that feels so weird to me is how inputs feel so inconsistent when buffered; not being able to consistently pull off dash or backdash buffered during recovery of other inputs as well as tight combo windows for some moves (move cancels but no combo) + dash stops when touching opponent so if I press attack late, dash attack or even near attacks dont happen sometimes and I just stand there point blank at their face lol

22:35 I keep hearing this in commentary whenever you see my Gaira NOT following up w/ 8BC Heavy pursuit after 360 CMD grab. It’s done on purpose to prevent the opponent from having the option to trigger SoN . In a situation like this, the opponent is desperately trying to hold onto SoN while trying to win w/o it. I will then make a few trade-off meaning i might let them get away with a throw punish or a couple of random normal hits. In either case, I am only looking for an opportunity to CMD grab…. To end it, or else I can still take it to the 3rd round. It is a calculated risk in my favor. What ends up happening is that it gives them a false hope especially if they manage to hit me with something. That is usually when they make a mistake or fail to foresee the setup for a delayed CMD grab. They think they might be able to win without wasting SoN. That is usually what I do. The next time I do it, you will see it then
