This is true I’m getting tomorrow awu2 and I’m curious how long Im gina get battery on it. Because every one claim one to max two days and I’m asking my self how is this positively if I’m getting two days on my aw se 2. I thing even when most of the people not training they still have everything turn on on max and that’s why the battery is draining so fast. I setup my watch to when I not traning it read just my heart and thants it when I train it reads what it need. Tomorrow I will test it and I’m sure without traning I will get four days but with training day two or even maybe three. Of course diving or hiking it will be a day because it needs gps to use. We will see. Good video. At last some one tell the truth

Useful video for me. I don’t work out as much as you, but need maps for hiking. Why did you choose the Apple Ultra 2 over the Garmin Epix Pro?

I used Garmin for 7 years, up until November 2023 - so a big fan of their products, but, there were a few things that just didn't work for me as well as the Ultra 2 does. I run through my thoughts and why I switched in the video below. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/kK2JmrCa3d2of4E.htmlsi=VDcezkAUOzqiSzsU

That’s some great battery life. I’ve started charging my ultra 2 after 2 days, but I don’t use it for sleep because I have another Apple Watch I use for that. Also I keep the screen always on. But that said, the watch definitely goes beyond apple’s 36 hours of battery life.

I ended up flip flopping between the Fenix and the AWU2 and just always kept going back to the AW. I really like the glances view on Garmin but the AW just has more of the extra features I need. I hope the recent changes in Watch OS11 are a show in apple taking a new direction towards showing metrics in a better way P.s what is the workout app you are using at the 3 minute mark?

nice video, currently just about to do mine, the walls that arent painted brick are they insulated or plastered (where you have your sign?) also what flooring did you use? debating on self levelling then some rubber matting like yours
@timarnoldpt
@timarnoldpt 11 күн бұрын
Hey, the back wall is a stud wall with insulation in-between the plasterboard and then ply wood over the top of that, a bit overkill but means mounting things to the wall is a lot easier, there is still a tv to go up there yet... Flooring is 1m2 rubber tiles from Wolverson Fitness, I think they are the 40mm thickness for sound deadening and insulation etc.

Just found this channel and loving the sound advice. An even simpler way of counting how many calories you should have is courtesy of the apple fitness app. Providing that you wear your Apple Watch most of the day and your health details are up to date, by tapping on your rings in the fitness app on your phone, under the move/kcal figure is the total it thinks you have burnt during the day. Obviously this is retrospective as it’s a dynamic figure and will be constantly updating unil midnight, but it’s a more accurate figure as it takes into account how active you have been during the day. Shame it doesn’t give the macro split, but perhaps in the next update ?? Keep up the good work and looking forward to many more videos.

I have owned a Garmin Epix Pro 2, loved it, rugged, loved the torch but it was too much data for my needs. I then owned the AWU 2, gorgeous display, unlocked my Mac automatically, paying was easier, talking to it to set timers, replying to messages, absolutely brilliant. I just got sick of charging it every 2 days, I didn't understand all the metrics e.g telling me I had a bad nights sleep when I actually felt really good. I'm not an athlete I don't care about my cadence. I sold both devices. I now own a Casio GW-M5610U - This is perfect, rugged, tells the time, timers, stop watch and is always spot on with the exact time because of the MultiBand 6 feature. I will probably look again at the Apple Watch next generation when it comes out in September but for now my life is peaceful and cheaper!

I am in the same struggle myself, having both watches as well as a Withings Scanwatch which I love for being really close to a real watch experience while still having silent alarms and notifications on the wrist. When the AWU wins my heart again, I am not gambling about battery anxiety. I bought a cheap used Apple watch 5 that I wear at night while charging the AWU. Your last question is the most important: having clear why you are actually tracking stuff and adding that screen to your wrist is key. Thanks for the video!

Hi Time great video. If you was looking to reduce body fat but remain at the same weight what sort of calories macros would you be looking at. Im 80kg and 6ft 1 8% body fat so i want to stay at the same weight but look to tighten up more. Would i need to be looking to be in a deficit or could i stay at the same weight but reduce fat by maintaining at 176 x 15 2640 calories
@timarnoldpt
@timarnoldpt 2 ай бұрын
Hey Aaron, difficult to say without a full consult but - maintenance cals will keep you at the same weight, you can look at increasing the protein g per kg of bodyweight. Then tweak the carbs/fats as you go to suit your needs.
