Cool video, reminds a bit of the Nossob eco trail which is a few days of dunes like that and bigger. As a matter of interest what tyre pressure were you running?

The two major reasons for the state of the roads in Kgalagadi are firstly people not deflating vehicle and trailer tires for sand driving and secondly people attempting 4x4 routes in either 2x4 or difflock vehicles. There is a reason 4wheel drive is required.

Nice Video, I'm glad you could do it in a 4x2, so many conflicting stories about what vehicle is needed.

That trail is 4x4 only, all those runs I am sure were in 4x4. I think they got stuck when they tried 4x2.

We could have a lot more beautiful places around the world if we humans slowed down and stopped trying to destroy the planet just for gain and profit. I. E. Pure greed.

It took us about 7 hours, but we stopped a lot. According to SANParks you should plan for about 5 hours.
