@@journeyswithjaywe did cooking class as well in rome just across the bridge. Same as you we ate what we cooked, with wine. For £50 it was a decent experience. If you do, gordon ramsay beef wellington do a review ❤

We are on holiday in London. Yesterday we were at Fortnum and Mason Afternoon High Tea. It was a horrible experience. The service was really bad. Spend your afternoon at better places.

Oh no, sorry to hear that! If you would like a different place for afternoon tea, I really would recommend the Ritz for a similar price. There are mixed reviews for Fortnum & Mason but personally, the Ritz never fails! ☺️ Also, while you’re in London, you can head to the Chelsea neighbourhood, the ‘Chelsea in bloom’ free flower festival is on right now, it’s beautiful! This place got a bad review on another KZfaq channel for several reasons, the take away items being part of that. But in your experience, did they use loose teas? The other channel reported they used bags. I'd like to go here when I make it back to London as it's a pretty hotel and the Lilibet the cat makes it perfect! Thanks!

Hello my friend, unfortunately no loose leaf teas, just teabags I’m afraid. It’s a nice place to visit, especially to say hi to Lilibet but if you were looking for only 1 place to visit for afternoon tea while you’re here, then personally I’d choose the Ritz. The Lanesborough is still one of the best hotels in London though! I went here again recently for the new Bridgerton themed tea, which should be uploaded soon if you’d like to give it a watch. Speaking of birthdays, back in the 90s I visited London with a co-worker and we went to the Ritz Palm Court for tea. She dismissed it as being 'very cliche." I told her I was sorry she felt that way as it was my birthday gift to her. Ah well. I will go again one day and have a better time, as you seem to be doing here. Lovely video!

Not Anymore! During the 70s and 80s those were the years that it was still a virgin island , unexploited , peaceful and very beautiful , I ha very a vivid memory of how the islands was before. This year 2024 I was there 3 times and stayed at Crimson Hotel station one . I came back Feb and March and saw how dirty it was, a lot of Algae on the beach and a lot of hecklers . It’s now overrated. There are more beautiful white sand beach in the world like the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Sad to see the transformation of Boracay , a lot of the building and businesses looks like unregulated the way they were built . There was no zoning or you can just build your own place as long as there’s an available land . There’s more nice places in the Philippines that you can visit that are still untapped and unexplored .

Hi Benny, thank you so much for watching! Oh I can imagine how beautiful it must’ve been back in the 70s, I haven’t stayed at the Crimson hotel but I’ve heard it’s a lovely resort too. I guess that’s the thing isn’t it, when a place is well known, then everyone wants to go and it does become a bit overcrowded. I’m going back again soon, but please do share where in the Philippines you would recommend to visit, I’d love to explore ☺️
