Knowing some of the words in the K4, I wonder if you need to use the Kryptos alphabet in a way similar to the clock. If the last or first letter is an indication, it leaves 96 letters, easily lining up with 6 for Kryptos, and 24 if the cipher is time based transposition cipher before a viginere cipher. Only issue I see is that all letters is used in the cipher, but multiple letters add up to a similar letter, meaning there might be a transposition first, since both a S in EastNortheast line up, along with K in clock

I have a theory that supports the false alarm hypothesis: The US's radar operators were described as poorly trained and thus may have turned on low frequency mode to try and get a larger return on whatever they thought they saw. One big issue with this: Low frequency mode can pickup clouds of say, smoke. Or shrapnel in the air. Or radio communications. Or anything. So all it would take is those wankers with the radar to bumble about with the controls, enable low frequency mode, and pickup a rain cloud.

I feel like there’s not enough emphasis on the other elements of the art installation. The compass, the seemingly blank stones, the petrified wood, the light and shadows cast from the cypher, the physical coordinates mentioned, the Berlin clock and reference to time, east and northeast, etc. There’s a physical aspect to the puzzle being overlooked I feel. Have the light and shadows been check at the solstices and equinoxes and other important times? Measurements between the installations been checked? The reference to king tuts tomb might have some clues.
