Bro, could you make a video showing how to make a weapon (with its respective firing and aiming system) in 3rd person? All the videos that are around the internet only talk about FPS and everything related to 3D shooters, they are nothing more than people showing a pack created by them (Lately your videos have been useful to me, that's why I feel confident in asking you for it :b)

Very good explanation, but I have 1 question. In this video you made a DataStore for coins, but I have more values to store, lets say for example Stamina, Strength or whatever it is, do I create a DataStore for each data ?

I love modeling in blender, every time i tryied to learn scripting i failed miserably, it seems that modeling 'fits' in my way of life. I would love to work in a team and see a game starting to form, but it's quite hard to find serious people.

Maybe it's also because I stopped watching tutorials. I still do for specific problems or things I need to add, like checkpoint systems, conveyors, etc. But I don't watch tutorials that help you with language and syntax anymore. I used TheDevKing which I think you recommended, but I stopped for some reason. Maybe it's because I thought I didn't need any extra scripts because I already have checkpoint systems, killbricks, conveyors, and text buttons, but the opposite is true. I should be at his Advanced series by now, but I haven't even finished the beginner.

Module scripts are also just good for organization instead of having every function in one module for example i have a tycoon and i use a spawn module, pad module, and currency handler module for handling tycoon currency the player's money and to handle developer product purchases

also i disagree with the music thing because i can't focus in silence and im fine with songs with lyrics maybe its just certain people that are slower

I don’t understand why you don’t recommend to make variables short. I’m a beginner so what do I know but could you please elaborate? Ty and Awesome video!
@SuperPortfolioOnline3 күн бұрын
there’s no *real* reason to make short variable names. it used to be done to save time and because of limited screen size. now we have scroll bars and auto fill. it’s good to make your variables as descriptive as possible (to a point, of course.) naming them real short could cause confusion if you plan on editing later. it’s the same reason we use comments

I've been learning how to script the hard way while using Chat GPT and watching tutorial videos. I'm developing my own Incremental Game inside a Screen GUI in Roblox Studio, and it's a single player experience. I put my entire focus on the foundation of my game before I even try building it up more because I have to learn how to handle all that data in my Incremental game. I examine the weaknesses of my Scripts and try to work out solutions so that all my different components are working correctly to meet my goals for my game. There is just so much planning involved when developing a game, you have to be patients and also have a vision. I had to learn how to flatten out a table using Chat GPT, I only have to write down the prices of buttons only once. I had a Server Script to handle the purchasing logic and a Local Script for displaying the cost of those buttons. By flattening out my table I can transfer over my String values as arguments to get the results I want.

You forgot to mention about using Server Storage to recycle already existing Scripts in a Roblox game. This is especially important if you're modifying your scripts to be more efficient, and the last thing you want to do is going back reversing the changes once you realize your execution was off the mark.

For me the problem is language. It's easier to code if ur main language English. So basically i need to learn English a bit more before coding😔 Need more time...

If you guys want to wait based off of frames instead, you can try this: local FrameWait = 2 for frame = 1, FrameWait do task.wait() end #Waits two frames
