@Robert Hartley GM - I realized, after watching the entire video, that these are indeed more conversation based "podcast style" videos rather than interviews. That's why I removed my previous comment. I sincerely apologize for jumping to conclusions.

@Wheeler1717 It's all good, I've heard the criticism before, and even in a conversation, it's good to be reminded if I'm interrupting too much. Sometimes I get too excited about what we're discussing and can't hold it in. I also just got diagnosed ADHD a fortnight ago, and apparently, that's one of the signs of it, too.

@@RobertHartleyGM I also think that it's more difficult not to talk over each other when you're chatting via a screen as opposed to face to face. Your channel is great and your DMing is entertaining as hell. TBH, I learn more tricks and tips from you than from some of your guests. I say talk away.

It would make sense of they were at least both the same, but i feel like ot could be either evocation or divination. Although i would assume thay divination is more about forcing information while these to spells are about sending information.

Speaking of OnlyFans: have you ever thought about making a series of shorts where you dress up as a stereotypical bard and recite cheesy DnD themed pickup lines? Ginny Di has made a compilation like this (her patrons helped her come up with 50 pickup lines) and her fans absolutely loved it ("Are you a mimic? Cause that chest looks too good to be true" or "Hi, I'm Leomund, wanna come to my Tiny Hut tonight?") 😇

@PhilosophyOnTheNightbus I don't like to just steal other people's ideas. Ginny did it and it was brilliant.
@PhilosophyOnTheNightbus
@PhilosophyOnTheNightbus 2 күн бұрын
@@RobertHartleyGM I totally respect if you don't feel like making that kind of video. But I don't think Ginny Di (or any of the other DnD skit creators who did the same) would really see themselves as the inventors of "reciting DnD themed pickup lines in costume". That idea is probably as old as the first ever DnD player who wanted to impress his TTRPG group with more sophistication and eloquence than the regular horny bard is usually able to provide. I just think that if you decided to do it, the uniqueness would lie in the level of quality you could bring to it: you have a delicate sense of humour, you're a talented theatre kid and a studied actor, you have a cover-to-cover knowledge of all DnD books so you can come up with heretofore unused pickup lines. And most importantly, you are one of the few youtubers who can flirt with the camera without being cringey. (Again, I don't mean to persuade you. It was just a schnappsidee I had yesterday when I realised that 'Robert Rants' has ended a month ago and I started missing the occasional youtube short from you 🌞)

@@RobertHartleyGM My apologies. I just had high expectations when i clicked on the video and started watching it, thinking that it was a recent interview done in the last few weeks, not four months ago. Note: I enjoyed listening to the interview, i always enjoy listening to Kelly and Monty, and would consume any interview they were a part of. It was just that i became a bit frustrated when they started talking about Monsters of Drakkenheim Kickstarter not even being complete and this being an obvious MoDK interview done to spread the word about their Kickstarter like they have done a few others back in March. I didn't mean to sound demeaning or anything, and in fact everything else but the stuff about the Kickstarter is still relevant four months later in July. This was just a gut reaction i had ( and was quite tired and cranky already when i wrote it). Again my apologies.

I've been following Viva's D&D shenanigans since the beginning, last week I was listening again to their campaign on Spotify and your Twitch Tales podcast got recommended to me I'm hooked to Apis story already and can't wait to catch up with the present so I can hop on stream 😂 (I know there's recaps but I'm enjoying the ride :P) I have a little dumb question: As I've said I am listening to this as a podcast on Spotify, am I missing (or will I eventually miss) on too much without the visual elements? 🤔 Anyways felt like I had to say thank you for putting this ones up, your storytelling and acting abilities are impressive and Apis tale makes for a great company during mind-numbingly boring work hours 😅 Much love from Argentina! 🙌🏻
