They forgot to adjust the feet or what ever is needed to get rid of those large gaps around the front walls. An interior walk around would have been nice as well. Guess I'll just have to go look at one in person some time as this video wasn't much help.

This video is an example of how the expander is folded out and isn't the full installation. When setting up your Same Day Granny Flat there are flashings and seals that would be installed to ensure there is no gaps.

the instruction book says to use the z Flashings , although in this setup video they do not use the flashings at all , please explain @samedaygrannyflats

Hey Lennox, This video was filmed about a year and a half ago and was our prototype premium model. Our Tuggerah facility doesn't have a lot of space, so we had to set up and dissemble the cabin multiple times a week. As we were setting the cabin up often, we welded hinges to the wall to assist us. The problem with having hinges on the walls is that you can't properly seal the walls and are prone to have water leaks, thus all our expander cabins have Z flashings to ensure our cabins are water proof.

Well I am quite sure that the video is false in showing its simplicity, for example the kit I helped to assemble yesterday didn't have hinged side walls, the instruction book was disappointing if not vague leaving out important information, the hinged end walls did not fit correctly to the floor even though the floor was level, the end walls were too short on one side and did not lock in behind the side wall, so you couldn't assemble it with the supplied Tek screws as there wasn't anything to screw too, after years of doing renovations etc I would not even entertain buying one, the video has been faked up or the supplier is obtaining the current batch of granny flats from another supplier.

Sorry to hear about your troubles setting up your cabin. This video was filmed at our Tuggerah premises and we have not changed our factories. I would have hoped that you called us to talk about the issues you described as we could have easily spoken you through them all over the phone to help you set the cabin up.

That Is correct Howard, our cabins take about 2 days to fully set up, ready to move in. This video is just a quick explanation of how our cabins fold open, as a lot of people don't understand how it can triple in size.

It’s been almost a two week since we got ours, and it is still not fully set up. When we asked about any assistance before we bought it, we were told there was a person around our area who could help us. Once we bought it, we were then told no one around the area could help us. The instructions are missing information on how to set it up. I think your videos are little bit you misleading maybe putting that in the description That it could take up to 2 days.

@@qhoward8868 Hey, What store did you purchase your cabin from and what area are you in? We also have a 1300 number you can call us on to ask any questions regarding the set up of your cabin. I would love to know what information is missing from our instructions. We have on our website and we tell all our customers that it takes at least two people about 2 days to fully set up. The purpose of this video is to show people how our cabins work, as a lot of people can't understand how they fold open.

Thank you, the premium cabins do look great. We have never done a U shape kitchen although it is a good idea.
