I bought 24mm 1.8. It does a lot of knocking sound while recording. I sent it to the Canon repairs. It was marketed as silent for video but for me it did a lot of noise. Its been 1 month and ticket on Canons website is still "Open" and "In procress". Cant believe that even in 2024 they are marketing quiet lenses for video and cameras are getting A LOT of video features and lens are still noisy as hell like in the 2010. My Kit lens 18-45 and 55-210 lenses are dead silent while photoing or recording video. Even my EF-S 55-250 was dead silent for video. There no simple everything to hear with any mic when using those. If my 24mm 1.8 comes from the Canon service I will change it to something else if that still makes that knocking noise.

Great video. It’s unacceptable that a 8k machine has any leaks that early in a Home! Let alone a coffee shop. I hope they get their shit together I’ve wanted this machine for a long time.

Leaking from boiler is no acceptable for machines with this price point. In terms of reliability, my experience with La Marzocco is way better. Anyway, thanks for your sharing. And this video helps my to determine which machine has to eliminate from my list.😂

@@Tom_swrsc hey Tom, have you connected a rear derailleur to the battery in a proper way, i.e. from the rear derailleur to central port of the battery? Have you tried to switch wires (use from the front derailleur), have you tried other charger blocks? if yes, you need to debug all things separately to find a cause - rear derailleur, wires, battery, charging cable. I would say you need to find a bike with 100% working groupset (local bike shop, friends, etc) and try to connect your parts one by one to and find the broken one. Probably I would go this way if I ran into the same problems. Cheers, let us know if you solve the issues

Just bought the Pesado E61 and kinda like the taste. It's very different compared to the 200RNT or the stock that came with my E61, and imo preferable. But I feel like the saturation mechanism of E61 is inferior regardless of shower screen, and your E1P results may differ completely.
@ikakau
@ikakau 8 ай бұрын
You probably already got it fixed but for other people, the newer P64 has two screws that adjusts the burrs located on either side of the top burr carrier, it has to be loosen to take the carrier off. When you put it back you have to make sure that you do not tighten these screws too much or it will bind the burrs.

@BosHK
@BosHK 8 ай бұрын
Well depends what your criteria is to 'persuade anyone', if its ease of install....AXS is easier, I would disagree that mechanical is easier than this di2, sure maybe people will have problems with battery install, but the wireless shifters, no mechanical gearing shifting, thinner connection cables......this di2 has worked flawlessly since I made this unbox video. Hope you get your idea setup , thanks for watching

Honestly, it's so disappointing, it is one of the most beautiful looking home/commercial espresso machines. I've owned a Breville dual boiler for five years, and it's never, ever ever ever had a single problem. If I am going to pay 8 1/2 thousand dollars for an espresso machine, and it starts leaking within 14 months, the manufacturers have some serious issues they need to fix. I simply do not under any circumstances, expect this thing to have any problems the first five years with regular back flush and cleaning.

Thanks for the video. Comparing with EF35/2, the RF35/1.8 sounds so quiet. I cannot hear any AF sound even with the built-in mic. My main scenario is using external mics (3-6 ft away) to record piano performance in a quiet room. Do you think RF35/1.8 will work well for this? Thanks again!
@BosHK
@BosHK 11 ай бұрын
I think everyone has a different perception of noise. Personally I think this 1st gen of RF len is loud, it is also i believe the cheapest RF lens too. If you are using long term, can consider investing in more expensive RF len

@@BosHK Thank you for your opinion! I am currently use a EF28/1.8, which has a USM motor. Its focus sound can be heard (slightly) when there is no other sound during the recording. If the piano is playing, USM motor is not a problem at all. I think I am going to wait for USM RF lens. :)

Check the front hub caps, if they wobbles, it could be the reason of disc rubbing. If you swicth to DyraAce cassette it will not last long, it is softer material than Ultegra.
