Thank you so much! Not only did I learn how to technically do the visualisation, but also some chart types or visualisation approaches I haven't learned so far.

I Finally mangaed to duplicate this in Power BI. Nearly broke me but I feel like I've got superpowers now :) The formula for 3 way lift however is different from the traditional formula seen elsewhere (Number of A,B, C Occurences / (Total transactions * Fraction of A occurrences * Fraction of B occurrences * Fraction of C occurrences)). This Formula used here seems to be (Number of A,B, C Occurences / (Fraction of A Occurances * Fraction of B&C Occurances). Is there a reason for this? I know this is probably TLDR :D

Hi Dave, I'm just starting the course and realise that I'd need to install this on the company notebook which I don't want to (need to ask for permission etc.) So I'm wondering whether you know if I would run in any limitations using Anaconda cloud notebooks? I seem to have managed to install plotnine there, so I'm hoping it will work :)

While I'm not super familiar with Anaconda cloud notebooks, I can't think of any reason why it will not work if you can install packages.

You clearly know your stuff, but the excel worksheet is blurry and often unreadable. So I'm having to make sense of much that you are talking about from your verbal description of what you are doing. It might as well be an audiobook instead of a video. Constructive criticism only.

@@DaveOnData Thank you for your input. My computer did auto adjust to 480p for some ungodly reason. So I was wrong about that part, however, the writing is still very small and I have vision problem after starring a screen to long. It would have been helpful if he would zoom in on the particular chart that his is referring rather than me having to look at all three chart while he's talking about one. I may just be old, blind, cranky, and stupid. good possibility.

Python in Excel is more like Excel in Python. Which, of course, really doesn't work. Good advanced geeky stuff, but useless in 99% of most Excel environments. As David does acknowledge. If you're serious about Excel, don't waste time on Python. For advanced Excel, that really works, Power Query is the way to go! Otherwise, you are coding Python, not Excel...

I'd like to offer this up for consideration. For years, Dr. Wayne Winston has authored books on performing advanced analytics in Excel (e.g., using the Solver). Python in Excel is a much better way to do these things.

I really appreciate you showing Excel's Python. I follow a lot of Excel channels, and there's not much on it! The reason I'm writing is because several weeks ago I happened to realize the Python section was gone! I'm on the Insider Beta channel. Anyway, it didn't come up until now. I froze your video and tried to customize the Ribbon and discovered the entire Python section was hiding - well not added. If you Right Click on an empty part of the Ribbon and select Customize The Ribbon, in the left column (Choose commands from) drop down, select Main Tabs and then expand Formulas (click the >), and there is the entire Python (Preview) section! On the right side select click the > next to Formulas, click on Defined Names to indicate where the Python section should go after, and then click the [Add >>] button in the middle, and then click [OK]. Just in case anyone viewing this has the problem!
