Is the D5K a loud machine?

I have noticed these Sword model trucks are very expensive I have seen them on ebay which the prices are like $700 to $800 dollars and sometimes may be a thousand dollars. Why is it like that? Is it because the the details are little bit more accurate then other models?

Now all functions as the real machine..after I drilled out the arm ram rivets, removed the original rams and replaced with 1.5 mm x 40mm long spit pins..trimmed to length....now full range of movement and holds very well.

The front loader equipment was produced by Drott and fitted to the IH machines as well as John Deere tractors, we over in the UK had the BTD 6 & 8 machines and were produced in Doncaster and Rubery Owen, Warrington in the 60s.. There are still many in use, being now over 60 years old, mainly on farms as well as a number preserved examples, showing up at steam rallies etc, nice video, hope to purchase one soon..

The plastic boom cylinder can be repaired using Mek Pak plastic cement... The problem with diecast models is that they are difficult to take apart, for repair as most of the components are riveted in place, they will need to be carefully drilled out, to effect a good repair..

Recently, Britain's released a new and improved version of this backhoe, The 3CX Sitemaster Plus. The front bucket rolls back perfectly, and the backhoe arm is able to tuck into the travel position, when carefully maniuplated, as it is very stiff.
