Thanks for the video. I’m pretty sure this is my issue- bad coil. I’ll buy one today and give it a shot. What were your symptoms other than no start? Mine started misfiring and would stall at stop signs occasionally, then long start. I’d have to crank it excessively to get it going again from the stall. Wondering if you had any of those things happen? Thanks again!

I think the c bodies need to be hard tops if you want the most style from the fuselage era. Sadly, everyone sent them to the crusher. The convertibles have the opposite problem -- everyone figured they will be highly collectible someday, so they preserved many, many examples. Because demand is lukewarm at best, ragtop prices are quite low. We're talking toyota corolla money for one that's pristine.

Depends on how bad your rust is? Minor rust you’ll be able to maybe repair it? From in side of the wheel well /tire side. If the frame or anything else is rusted? Motor needs to be pulled to do it right. Good luck

Gustave was a brilliant man. Take a look at that engine. It does not look like a gasoline engine.. It looks more like a steam engine. How did it work?. I would be very interested in that. I think it did work but I just don't know how it worked. Did it run on steam or compressed air or compressed gas or something else? A .Stanley Steamer set a speed record in 1905. The drover had to ease of of the throttle because the car was starting to get airborne.
