They are a Mod. I'm sorry I forget the actual name. Zardos forcefield airlock? (I'm sure Zardos is in the name) . Completely air tight. DOES transfer power and items. And no more opening doors! (They make them in Large and Small grid. Next to the Star Gate mod, these are my Favorite!!!)

Best advice for Self Docking.....Straight Lines! So the AI recorder moves Straight At the dock, no obstructions. Also best if the AI flight recorder is Exactly in the Middle of the docking port, it lines itself up easier.

Just an idea here, but have you thought of maybe having a ramp leading to the gate, might be that the vessel is trying to spawn into the ground, and so the spawn is kicking the vessel to the nearest safe location?? Having a ramp leading upto the gate might, and i enphasize, "might" sort out the spawning into the ground thing?? Cool looking mod tho bud, im subscribing now to keep upto date with this one

There IS a version of Gate that Has the ramp. It acts Just like this one. I like this look better. They Both blow up cars going through. And ships still spawn off side.

Ok I love the ground hanger setup built into a mining pit with the retracting roof and will be stealing that idea. I absolutely love the concept of a one-click surface to orbit setup and will DEFINETLY be stealing that idea. What blows my mind and will make me worship you as a genius is that you rode to orbit on a freakin toilet, and I am now in the process of replacing all passenger seating on my vehicles 😂😂😂

BAHAHAH. Reading your comment, I was like "Toilet ", whats this guy going on about. Then I REMEMBER the video. Hahaha. I had to PROVE I wasn't pressing buttons. So I spent the flight in the Can! Lol In all fairness, most of These ideas I saw first on YT. And adapted to my use. And please build a better overhead door than mine. I was giving up at that point.

@@christalbot3039 I know that feeling "this would be so awesome but I wanna move on to the next project". I've been toying with a pit-base concept for awhile but couldnt really think how to implement it in a cool way, I like the way you did it, but the more I think about it the more I like the idea of having the pit itself being the only entrance, so I'm thinking making a series of landing pad bays on one "level" but have the pads themselves slide out into the open pit, and then having ships launch/land vertically that way. Probably just mount the pads on horizontal pistons to keep it simple. Maybe mount some stupidly huge massive blast doors over the pit opening because that would look awesome. Someone did a large grid rover with a fantastic folding elevator platform for small rovers, Need to find that video and incorporate that to get ground vehicles in and out. God too many ideas .

I never thought about a Jump drive for the 1 Button Shuttle. Hmmm. BUT, it Can't jump While in gravity. So I'll still have to 100% leave the planet to jump. Not sure how far away my asteroid is.

Darn that is awesome. CM has discontinued selling any PSU shrowd/cover in their online store accessories that fits CM Stryker and I'm stuck with my CM Stryker case with no PSU. Which makes cable managemnt realy hard and no matter what I do it does not look clean/good inside, but a mess. I guess I could make one from either plexi or aluminimum and spray it white, but I'm afraid if the case gets hot over extended time playing games, the paint might melt or something. Like if you get your oven or stove top damaged you need to use a small expensive paint that can take up to 90 degrees celsius, but that paint you could not paint a whole PSU cover in, as it comes in like small packages (like tipex kind of small bottles) and no spray version and it would look hideous and not be all smooth. Not sure what spray paint would be ok to use inside a case that can acctually get very hot under heavy load? I did find a company that makes custom PSU shrowds for CM Stryker but that is in Brazil and it would cost a fortune to ship that to Europe with taxes/custom fees and all.
