😊😊its lovely that you film Maple being with you doing jobs.The blue sky is stunning at the end I realised why the fence post needed to be pointed apart from the look of it..stops the rain settling on it to rot the timber too quickly.And I now see why I've seen them capped with metal on nature trails.

Hello there Louisa & Mark , what a big job you tackled over the weekend!! I have heard cement work is very hard work.. I remember my dad doing his driveway with a few helpers here and there. he put down like a metal fence ? for his base ,I have never seen using a tarp before, interesting. Have a joyful relaxing day ! Hi Paula. The tarp was left over from the extension -it's a damp proof membrane. We had it so we thought that we might as well use it.

I can certainly appreciate how hard it is laying a concrete base and tamping it, we did our summerhouse base with a cement mixer and two wheelbarrows, my husband had to push the wheelbarrow because it was too heavy for me but I levelled the base out, we were at it from early morning until about 8pm, rest assured I will never do that again 🤣😵💫 so well done to you both.
