The rest of you, some good and some bad news: your'e getting double pay, but I'm gonna need you to move at twice the usual speed.. Do a good job and you can go home early! Maybe by ten.." Seriously, this is a good video presentation because you're showing what you're doing almost step by step. A fully step by step video has way too many feet in it though.

Putting those big screws doesn't do anything. If there is something pulling on that wall such that you'd need those, the sheet metal screws of the studs will give out long before even 2-1/2" x 1/8" sill plate screws are ever taxed. This is a case of giving the appearance of quality work without actually increasing the quality.
@solidmakersaluminumАй бұрын
not true, we are not trying to give the appearance of quality work, we are simply following engineering plans provided by The Aluminum Association of Florida. We really do provide quality work.
@twoalward9166Ай бұрын
@@solidmakersaluminum In that case, a smart person would attribute my comment to the engineer. In your OWN words however, you say, "I wanna make sure that it's on there good and tight" and not 'the engineer wants to make sure it's on there good and tight." "Aluminum Association"? LOL man this whole "permitting" and "engineering" ridiculousness is getting out of hand.
