Put a 100hp diesel on it and it would run better. Preferably, a remanufactured pre emissions engine.

The SC-12 I've been using keeps getting jammed at the cutter head. I can get through a forklift sized load and by the end of one load it is jammed so bad that it has to be taken apart and the pieces manually cleared out. The pieces are being fed one or two slabs at a time. I wonder if others have the same issue.

I also think this is an awesome machine! But I bought a new "6-inch" chipper with dual feed rollers in 2007 and owned this machine for 8 years, after this time I would not buy a "6-inch" chipper again because it is too big to reach a "35-inch" door and to small to feed large Christmas trees or large limbs. Actual I have my third hydraulic feed chipper with electronic no stress system the machine is also self-propelled and can reach a "35-inch" door. I think you should release your 810 XT on tracks with long wheelbase to compete with the Hansa C60 RX 10 inch track chipper!

I like the idea of a dual conveyor machine, but I’d rather have it on a 4 wheel utility vehicle. Such as a John Deere Pro-Gator. If I could have one built my way, I’d like one with electric actuators to raise and lower the conveyors. That would be the bees knees.

The operators wear magnetic bracelets...If these magnets pass in front of the Salsco Safety Shield, sensors in the plates send an instant signal to the chipper’s feeding mechanism, shutting it down in less than a second. Then the operator has to use the same magnetic bracelet to reset the device to resume the feeding mechanism!

they used to roll fairways with a steam roller in the early 1900's...very similar to the greens roller I used when working a t a golf course...Do you use this as a mowing alternative or just to smooth and speed up the fairways?
