Can I ask how you fitted the winch to the roof bars and what make the winch is?

It was a full sized roof rack bud not bars. I bolted it on it was a cheap winch I brought of Amazon for about £60. It worked a treat as you can see. Hope this helps you out.👍🏻👍🏻🎣

Shouldn't laugh. I used to run a fishing forum with lots of kayak anglers, we had an ongoing topic on how many people had lost rods reals and other tackle. Most people had lost more than one rod. We called the topic "Neptunes Locker"

I’ve had both but prefer the solid floor especially for stand up lure fishing, but they are heavy and a pain in the arse to ensemble every time you want to go fishing if you haven’t got a trailer. But for lightness and easy set up would be the air deck. I’ve got both at the moment.

You are in my stomping ground there. Be careful though, you need a fishing licence anywhere above the yellow buoys in the harbour. I know this because they threatened to kick me off my mooring in Christchurch for fishing without one 🤦♂️

It will go faster with a 8hp for sure. A good option if you want an upgrade but never seen a selva outboard so can’t comment on them bud. Let me know how you get on.🎣🎣👍

It was great with just me onboard, but with another adult it slowed it down. I liked it for the beach launches nice and light but if there’s two adults then a 9.9hp is your best bet. I’ve also tried it with a 15hp but very twitchy a high speed, 9.9hp for me on the t32.👍🏻
