Rules lawyer here. You’re right that you have to resolve the entire card effect before any effects triggered by the card happen. For example with triple dark raid you resolve the entire effect before any when played triggers (like ambush) will resolve. The important difference with guerilla attack pod is that both ambush and the pods ready effect are “when played” effects.

Hi, we always use wtc terrain and today we discussed a lot about wether the floor windows are closed or not, the big ruins you can buy are always closed optically, and the small ruins in the wtc rules i got are especially marked as closed with the red x. So is it all closed or not, would really make a difference i think... thank you!

Reinforcement walker seems pretty good with triple dark raid. As does Chimaera maybe!

I played Han red hand attack in set one a few times and when it was rolling yikes it could really shut down the opponent. In some ways i hope this deck isnt good because i think it will turn a lot of the casual players off. Ppl dont like their hand being discarded and im surprised the devs would just make hymn to tourach in SWU. Whats next sinkhole? Lol.

So for all you Warhammer people asking yourself, what happened? Well long story short, Warhammer just became a bit of a chore and i stopped having fun with it. I think i was already a bit burned out before the Custodes codex came out, but the release of the codex was probably the last drop in the glass. Not the fact that it was a bad codex, but that the rules were boring. The latest dataslate did change that a bit, but the subfactions still feel fairly bland and not very promoting of various playstyles or builds. On top of that i started a full time job, and setting aside multiple hours for a single game of Warhammer just didn't feel super good. So yeah, for now i am done with Warhammer, but i will probably return. When? Who knows!

That 20 stack to the east always gives me a ton of grief in turns 2-10 Once I get past that it's a fun campaign

So if the tournament is using the ruins as solid walls you would not be able to move into the building with the vehicle. Is that correct? If however you were using the terrain as it is made, wiziwig and the wall part of the ruin was only 2 inches, the vehicle could move in and then through it as 2 inches does not impede movement. Is that correct? Sorry to ask.

Dont like the part around 22mins where you had the custode tank partially on the ruin base, the dreadnaught can shoot it, but it couldnt shoot back. If the tank is partially on the ruin, it should still be able to shoot back if it can get shot at. LoS should always go both ways, the rail gun on my broadside sticks a good 2" off the base, I could abuse that like crazy.

I've sworn for years that the tabletop sim measurements aren't right. Tables feel way smaller than IRL.

Out of curiosity, why do tournaments (mainly using WTC rules) treat the ground floor as blocking line of site for units within them? ie can’t shoot in, can’t shoot out. At least from the front and one side where the walls are. Kinda defeats the purpose of the GW rule on benefits of cover, no? Gives an advantage for quick melee units jumping from ruin to ruin Are they looking to encourage people to flank units in buildings and/or get people to throw long range fire/vehicle units in strategic reserve, use rapid ingress and get them in behind?

My brother’s trying to get me into the game and I’m kinda interested in Salamanders lore wise. I’m definitely going to use the recommendations to put together an army for these guys.

you don't need sisters of silence lol, you have custodes females already which deletes sisters of silence, 40k is becoming trash and will be in another 5 years due to woke people in it stealing what they could never create cause they're stupid.
