Crazy how this place was hyped up but it got under a 6 from Franky but that French place got a 7.8 and potentially 8 worthy if they get it medium rare. I'm only now watching the episodes I missed after having issues with my French girlfriend and it gets under my skin when it comes to American burgers and fries they appear to be on the winning side.

I eaten here many times before and to say I review a lot of places myself I think he over exaggerated tf out of everything the burger is one of the most popular items on the menu also dairy isn’t used in koshere restaurants should’ve educated yourself better. I don't think that was a dipping sauce for the chips, I think that was the Smoked Onion Aioli that was supposed to go on the burger, maybe they serve it separate and let the customer decide to either put it on the burger or dip the chips in it. I was looking at this burger at the Goldbelly website where you can buy a Gramercy four burger kit for $99, after watching your video I think I could make a copycat burger at home for less. Goldbelly shows the ingredients for their Smoked Onion Aioli as Mayonnaise, Dijon Mustard, Ketchup, Red Wine Vinegar, Capers, Onions, Jalapenos. I'm surprised that they don't have Worcestershire sauce in the aioli, a lot of burger sauce recipes I've seen include W sauce.

I've tried a lot of burgers since peeping your channel last year (didn't actually catch this finale back then).... imo best burgers in nyc are (1 & 2 in order... then it's really a free for all for me) Black Label Burger at Minetta Tavern Peter Luger Burger at Peter Luger Steakhouse Double cheeseburger at Au Cheval Steak Burger at Nowon (tried this a few months ago for first time, slammin burger) I would put the top 2 against any burger in the entire city... the other 2 I just personally like a lot. They're not perfect but they are very good.

BK Jani is one of the best burgers in NYC. You had the original burger which has a mint chutney with it. It’s supposed to have a Pakistani spices flavor to it.

Melon's has gone tremendously downhill. Waitstaff are rude and they overcook the meat. Very overrated in my opinion. PJ Clarke's down the street is better. coming from someone who's been to both dozens of times.

The burger I had was horrible. There was a thick dense bun with sesame seeds and the patty was dry with just a slice of raw onion. This was on Saturday. It was beyond disappointing.
