My chilhuahua wanted to sit like that too but I was afraid that the wheel would hit her by accident. Didnt want to risk the chance. Especially if I'm drifting, and the wheel is spinning all over the place

Well, I could say it was popular since 1999 instead from 2000, in 1999 Catalunya rally was introduced the first paddle shift by Subaru team, and I could bet a developing version of it was tested by Vatanen in 1998 GB rally by Subaru aswell.

RBR generally requires a tighter rotation on your wheel than most other sims.
