Nice find....your a lucky guy, hope your find didnt break the bank as the majority of us only dream of owning a car we had in the 60's or 70's......the fact this car spent its whole life in Ca. is icing on the cake....just wondering is it a four speed as I presume it is

By the wire wheels on it I can only imagine where it was! Lucky it was rescued and hopefully make it into what it needs to be! My first legal car was a 64.5 4 lug mustang with a 65 fastback 289 and 5 lug rearend 280 gears. Highway roller! Few years later I bought a 65 fast back 2+2 with a built 302 in it, 4 speed and a 9 inch with 411s, Ford guys in town said what I had was what ford sent to shelby to make shelbys cars. Had small spline top loader 4 speed made for 70 boss 302 cars, and welded traction bars on rear leafspring plate up to in front of leaf with welded mount. Was alot of fun for a few year then to make a smoke show, I put a 351 Windsor in it, that was a challenge, I made headers that ended up in middle of the door, Deadman mufflers and a kickout to rear wheels. Sounded wicked! Then went to a fairbanks automatic, and used that 280 rearend to spin tires, as I put 67 windshield washer tubes and floor pedal and ran lines over rear wheels to pump bleach and water. Powerbrake and hit second gear to 70 mph pumping bleach the white smoke would roll!! Lol. Then let off brake and roll out. Lots of fun back then and chopping town. 70s were alot of fun up into the early 80s. Good ole days before things got screwy!

I replaced my upstream 02 sensor and engine light still on . Do I need to drive till it goes off or do I need to replace cam magnet. The mechanic also broke the clip on the female part of the harness not sure if it connects flush with the male 02 plug
@f.s.detailgarage786916 күн бұрын
@@RLAE420 you need to erase the check engine light with a scan tool after replacing the sensor then drive around to see if it comes back on.

Could use something for all that junk piled up in that room over there...lol I could be done with the job quicker doing it manually without all that prepping and keeping the $130 in my wallet. Gimmicks like these look good until after the third or fourth use then it becomes a job on top of a job. Meh

Î just got my clk w209. Its the same mechanic for the aux installation (white 4-pole cable on the passenger side). Following your tutorial I found a white 4-pole cable but it was connected to another 4-pole cable in brown. Are there any other 4-pole white cables in this place in the car or should this be the aux cable input?
