So question, if you stream through obs at 1080p 60fps with rodecaster hookup for broadcasting say for 5 hours, how much data would you end up using? And is the data hotspot data or mobile data?

@@niki_dashed3142 I honestly have not tested 5G on this hotspot. At the time of filming, I did not have access to 5G. I would imagine that the ping would be lower and speeds would be faster depending on the strength of the 5G signal and the provider.

Thank you. Im in the same situation. Can't even use DLS :I so I know that verizon slows internet speeds down even if you have an unlimited plan because god forbid I use more than 10gb in the middle of nowhere, I ought to be punished lol- but anyway, with this device, does Verizon slow your connection down after a certain cap? and if it does, is it still decent enough to game during any point of the day? I've been using my phone's mobile hotspot for two years and it seems like since last year, it has become completely unreliable during the daytime. like 30kbs and 500+ ping with very, very few sweet spots that last no more than 10 minutes if I'm lucky (so I've given up entirely to game online during the day). At night however, I can do pretty much whatever I want, like after 11PM. It's strange. So I'm wondering if this device slows down during a certain time of day too? I'm still probably going to end up getting this because it's literally my only option. Thank you for covering this

So when I made this video, I lived in a very small town. I never really saw, or even noticed, I drop in my connection speed. If a throttle was applied, it was very minimal. I was still able to game/stream no problem.

Hey! If my eyes serve me right, I believe in that session I had only downloaded roughly 230 MB worth of data.
