It's a rimfire, you oaf. And dont play with them, they are little wicked ones !

Expecting mine today. I don'y have the powered abrasive equipment thatyou have or I'd do the same thing. You did a lot more than just putting lipstick on a pig. Like you said, you finished the manufactering process. Well and smartly done.

I have on order so I'm watching everything I can to gain some foresight. I must say, you have taken this to another level - and to another era. That thing looks like the original American patent machine from the 1850's. The relief work on the limbs looks like something right out of Samuel Colt's factory, or a British Enfield foundry shop. Beautiful job!

I’m glad you’re posting again. The only thing stronger than your back is your brain. You figure this stuff out on your own. You aren’t squandering money on shiny new equipment. You figure out how to fix up old winches, build a lift station out of spare parts, calculate the load weight and size the pump to move the water, and build a dump truck. Anyone can go out and buy tools. You’re building the tools as needed as you go along. And you figure out solutions on your own. That’s very impressive.

This is sweet. Reminds me of mini version of a drop shaft for horizontal drilling of sewer projects.

How many manhole sections could be safely stacked like that before the weight would cause the bottom ones to buckle?

That's amazingly exciting progress down there, and nicely thought out - without thinking about it cutting a doorway might sound like a really simple task, but there's actually quite a lot going on, especially in how the blocks are going to drop without crushing you in the process.
