I've noticed the last 10 years or so that Goodwill has become WAY too expensive. So much so, that I don't even go there anymore. Other, less greedy thrift stores are much better. Many times I've seen used items for sale at Goodwill that are far less expensive when purchased at Wal-Mart or Dollar stores! It's hard to believe they are even classified as a "non-profit" organization. Their executives earn exorbitant salaries and employees are paid bare minimum and aren't treated well in my opinion. They may employee those with "barriers to employment" such as the disabled and ex-cons but they aren't really a "charity" in the sense of providing food, housing, shelter, clothing , disaster relief, or free drug and alcohol treatment to those in need. I would much rather give to and shop at thrift stores operated by organizations that do.

I have found some Church Rummage have been picked through already by the volunteers that help out.

Church sales in Nova Scotia are great. We have found Pyrex, Steiff, blow molds, stereo equipment , art, duck decoys and lots more. And….. the best part is that sometimes there is homemade bread, pickles , sweets, baked beans and other goodies that taste like dreaming!😋

IMO.... yall gravitated into the tshirt niche a bit and some viewers "typecasted" you for vtg Ts.... they forgot that you are a wealth of knowledge besides just T's. Just my opinion.

Such a great video! Thank you for starting this beginner's series. I've been really struggling. Much like you, I prefer to list on the eBay website. Again, like you, I use copy /paste from Word for my item description (modifying where necessary). Everything looks fantastic in preview, etc. on the WEBSITE. However, when I look at the same listing on the APP, the description format is either all messed up or you have to click another link to get to the "full description". And as you said, no mobile app user is going to do that. I've listed 15 items on the website so far and manually fixed each of the APP listings. This can't be right! I'm not having fun and I could get a part time job that pays more for my time than this (as someone once said). Would you happen to have any idea of what I might be doing wrong? TIA for any guidance you can give.

Fantastic video dude! Taken a lot of the worry and anxiety of selling on Ebay out for me. My main worry though is still the packaging and posting part. I want to be a small time seller, selling electronics, vinyl records, household items etc. Does this mean I have to buy specific packaging and posting materials for each of these items? Also, do the options you showed on ebay exist in the UK? I'm based there. If the option to print out postage labels without need for stamps works here, I'd definitely do that.
