I have heard that due to no heater , the drivers were issued with a razor blade to scrape the ice off the air guage in a morning to enable the driver to know when the brakes were able to work . earlier models had an external radiator cap that when removed provided hot water to shave in on a cold frosty morning . .....lovely .

I met Norman Wisdom at his home on the Isle of Man in the 90’s. A true film star in his day and a lovely person. He had a white Roller at the time. Cars and boats were his passion. Read his autobiography ‘Don’t Laugh at Me’, it will bring a tear to your eye!

They lasted a lot longer than any equivalent Ford, they just weren't as popular, did reasonably well in saloon car racing.

Even in that condition it looks better than the new Capri 😁

Not your cup of tea. I own a 1983 Yamaha venture xvz 12 tk. With a markland trike kit. V max heads and cams all the factory hot rod goodies. You should ride one there awesome. Out of the box just over 100 HP. My wife and I have logged 95000 miles and looking forward to more. Thank you for showing those big beautiful bikes

Probably one of the best LCs I have seen, not to sure about using it on some Targa Events as they can be a bit rough. Can you show some pictures of your Mk2.

The dash does not look original. I had one an ex works car and it did not look like that dash.

Taking a trailer to events is a fabulous idea. Also having it at service parks on rallies would be great if it’s feasible on some of the bigger events that have room. Another great Q&A guys. Good luck with the auctions this week.

I'm late to this awesome and wholesome show. But better late than never. The love and passion for what you do is wonderful, and enjoy especially seeing the stunning vintage cars. Enjoy seeing you all, but Derek is my favourite 😊
