I haven't had this issue but I would suggest try blowing the powersave cartidge and putting your game in it to see if it can read it. Also try to see if you can restore a backup save file from the powersaves. It automaically backs up your save file each time you use it. Another thing to keep in mind is not to use of the codes at once when using the powersave.

You can only get these items post game after you beat the pokemon league.

To be honest i can't recall where exactly since its been a while since i played this game.

Powersaves still works for the Gen 6 and gen 7 games

I think i caught it pre evo in moss cavern or the rainy path if i recall.

The format was for UNEVOLVED Pokemon.

It has to be the same species. If you have an aggron with head smash, it would pass it down to another aggron that doesn't have jt. Try breeding a female aggron with a male rampardos to get the egg move.

From what I can tell, I never had any issues with this device deleting my data or corrupting it.

@@Phoenixking96 That’s what’s up, I’m glad to hear making a backup is safe as that’s my main concern. Then I’m curious if this would work. What if I backed up my save, then transferred all my Pokémon to Pokémon Bank then into Home. Afterwards restore my now empty cartridge to the previous save that was made before I transferred everyone up. That would essentially clone pretty much all my Pokémon all at once wouldn’t it? Also while reading comments people said they needed to pay to use the codes via “points” would I need to pay any extra fees after I buy the device just to backup/restore or to clone my Pokémon? Cause that’s all I need it for is to make a backup to help keep my collection safe. I greatly appreciate this.

@@125SonGoku you don't need to pay any extra fees. The points were to get early access to the codes before they came out. All the codes will be on the device. The answer to your first question is yeah. I just tested it out and there were no issues. The back up file would have everything prior to the changes that you made. You can also back up your data manually and rename to keep track of it as well.

The servers for powersave 3ds are still up and running so you can still use powersave to clone your dex.

Try checking the ranked battle option or the online competitions tab to see if you recieved any rewards for that period of time.

@@Phoenixking96 i got the tutorial for the ranked battles, since I've never gone there, and in the online competitions it keeps showing me the results of the last competition, the one for Moltres. But then I go again to the mystery gifts and still says the same, can't receive with current software, and yes, I'm checking on the get battle stadium rewards

You can the powersave to get many of the events that were given out via ultra sun and moon or from previous games. There's a separte folder whoch would show the events you can get. This wouldn't include pokemon like melmetal or zarude.

yo ik this is a year old but did you get marshadow and zeraora using a power save and are they legal im debating buying one for the events i missed at game stop but i only want them if they are legal

In a sense yes. Pokemon within the same egg group can pass down egg moves. One example is if you wanted a milotic with dragonbreath, you'd breed it with a pokemon from the dragon egg group and it would be passed down to the offspring if that makes sense.
